Nice cozy, intimate setting. Staff were really attentive and friendly. They did a great job explaining each dish.
Food was brilliant. Loved everything in their set menu - freshly toasted bread, artichoke, pasta, pork jowl and dessert. Definitely would come back again
Staff are attentive and friendly. Highly recommend their 4 course dinner - starter, mains and dessert were perfect.
We recently visited Gunther’s on a weekday evening for dinner, and we really loved the food. The ambience, service and quality of food made the entire dining experience enjoyable.
First, we were welcomed with warm bread and butter - simple yet so delicious we asked for more! The cold truffle pasta with caviar and king crab leg with tomato rice were eye opening for both us and our tastebuds, highly recommended!
Desserts also did not disappoint and our tummies were extremely pleased when we left. We’ll be back!
Great experience! Service and atmosphere was fantastic. Dropped by for a weekday dinner, staffs were friendly and professional which makes the dining experience perfect.
Served with the chef curated course for me and my partner, food was definitely up to the standard. Will recommend the cold angel hair pasta with caviar and the grilled striploin! The striploin melts in your mouth!
Will recommend to others especially suitable for dinner dates or small group setting meals.
I enjoyed the restaurant's cozy interior - the waitress was very attentive and made sure to take care of me and my partner throughout the meal. As it was truffle season, she brought some samples for us to enjoy the rich aroma. She also brought out a selection of cheese to help us understand the different types of cheese the restaurant has. Started with warm bread and tempura - both tasted fresh and light, perfect to start the meal.
For the first course, I had the Bonbon of grilled French Foie gras. The flavours were balanced and rich. The second course was the Roasted Duroc pork ribeye with light creamy rice. The rice was flavourful and rich, which went well with the tender, succulent pork. The mains were really good and I recommend both these dishes.
The meal ended with the Coffee flavoured parfait with crunchy chocolate and anglaise sauce. The aromatic, sweet and cold dessert was a great way to end the rich meal.
It’s a fantastic place to bring a date as the restaurant is so meticulous and intentional. My partner and I had an amazing experience here together.
I ordered seared toro, and our waitress kindly explained it was tuna. It was soft and savoury, perfect as a starter for me. My main, the coquille pasta had amazing umami flavour because of the unique black ink sauce. I expected it to taste fishy but it paired pleasantly well with the tender crab meat. We ended with an absolutely amazing dessert that was coffee parfait on chocolate, absolutely satisfied my sweet tooth! It even came on a chilled plate to keep the dessert fresh. Amazing attention to detail. Chef kindly showed us their in season truffles, even an array of their cheese.
