Great places to dine
This restaurant is an exciting and unique spot - perfect for a fun night out. The cocktails here are crafted with a 'wow' factor and an unexpected creative twist, which makes the experience both entertaining and memorable.
I tried the Lucky Charm cocktail. The waiter, Thomas, shared the fascinating inspiration behind the drink. Apparently, the drink symbolises good luck! The drink was refreshing and strong, and I appreciated the overall theme of the drink.
For the main course, I had the Barramundi Fish and Chips. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the sambal tartar sauce added a tangy and delightful kick. The fries were perfectly crispy, which complemented the dish wonderfully.
What made the evening more enjoyable was watching Thomas present the cocktails that other diners ordered. The creativity of the cocktails added a lively and unforgettable touch. I could see that other diners were enjoying the show when I got my cocktail as well. I am already looking forward to coming back to explore more of their innovative drinks and see just how far they can push their creativity!
The restaurant’s cozy ambiance sets the tone for a great meal. We started with the fried Brussels sprouts, which were perfectly crispy and paired with a subtly sweet sauce that added just the right amount of flavor without being overpowering.
For the mains, I had the tiger prawn pasta, and it was the highlight of the meal. The pasta was coated in a rich, creamy sauce, and the prawns were juicy and tender. I also had the Grass Fed Ribeye, which was very tender and went well with the delightful sauce.
To end the meal, we had the baked Alaska. The meringue was fluffy and caramelised to perfection, hiding a decadent filling that struck the perfect balance of sweetness and richness.
Overall, the experience was delightful, and I highly recommend this place.
I stopped by for lunch and got the Big Breakfast Bash, which lives up to its name with an impressive portion size. The juicy mushrooms were incredible, and the in-house baked beans were a real highlight—sweet, tangy, and very slightly spicy.
To top it off, I had the iced white, which was smooth, creamy, and refreshing. The outdoor seating adds a relaxed vibe, perfect for a sunny morning. It’s a spot where you can enjoy great food, good coffee, and a tranquil atmosphere all at once.
The restaurant’s chill and cozy atmosphere is ideal for a date night. The staff were welcoming, especially Lawrence, who ensured we enjoyed our time, and indeed, my partner and I did.
We began with the Burrata, which was fresh, and the green gazpacho added a perfect lightness. For our mains, we had the Meadesmoore Cut (Australian Wagyu). The sauces complemented the juicy, tender beef wonderfully. One lent a buttery, creamy richness, while the other enhanced the beef’s natural flavours.
The Potato puree paired excellently with the beef. Its texture was silky smooth, adding a satisfying depth to the dish.
To finish, we enjoyed the tiramisu, which was satisfyingly rich and flavourful. The blend of cream and a robust hint of alcohol rounded off the meal with a sweet, indulgent touch.
Overall, I highly recommend this place, and its a place I will not forget!
I enjoyed the restaurant's cozy interior - the waitress was very attentive and made sure to take care of me and my partner throughout the meal. As it was truffle season, she brought some samples for us to enjoy the rich aroma. She also brought out a selection of cheese to help us understand the different types of cheese the restaurant has. Started with warm bread and tempura - both tasted fresh and light, perfect to start the meal.
For the first course, I had the Bonbon of grilled French Foie gras. The flavours were balanced and rich. The second course was the Roasted Duroc pork ribeye with light creamy rice. The rice was flavourful and rich, which went well with the tender, succulent pork. The mains were really good and I recommend both these dishes.
The meal ended with the Coffee flavoured parfait with crunchy chocolate and anglaise sauce. The aromatic, sweet and cold dessert was a great way to end the rich meal.
Our chef Andy was very friendly and sharp in preparing our dishes. I enjoyed learning more about the dishes from him and watching him prepare our food.
Some of the dishes I liked were the striped jack with spring onion and the uni. I liked the freshness of the spring onion paired with the fresh umami flavour of the fish. The uni had a melt-in-the-mouth texture, which is always a delight.
The dishes were top-notch and the overall experience was very comfortable and peaceful. I would recommend anyone to dine here for a luxurious and gastronomic experience.
