aesthetic cafe vibes but the sandos were quite small, would be good for a tea break pit stop. tried the losing nemo (salmon) sando but the amount of salmon given was quite little so would advice getting the others instead.

Avocado Toast - $17
¡
Generous portion of avocado on sourdough, and house guacamole with onsen egg by the side. Topped with dukkah, seeds, wild mushrooms and grana padano cheese. The slices of picked pear gave the exotic flavours to this avocado toast. I prefer the lemon version instead of picked pear

Grids Coffee

Ordered the pork katsu and salmon nemo(?) sandwiches, and they are very very expensive for the original price of around $18 each, and even with the burpple deal it still wasnât worth it.
The pork katsu was almost impossible to chew as it was really tough, and the salmon was very average.
One positive is that there is a really nice ambience and people can go there to do their work and enjoy some coffee.
Not recommended for the food, will definitely not be coming back

Pretty yummy sandwiches here, a little bit towards the smaller side but alright if youâre not too hungry or if youâre planning to get some sides.
The Kurobuta Bacon was thin and crispy, perfect with the guacamole. The furikake aioli was a nice fusion touch. Along with the sunny side egg (thereâs just something so satisfying about eggs in sandwiches), roasted pickled tomatoes and greens, the ingredients in this sandwich make it a great brunch pick.
The Sammies here are made with freshly baked Shokupan bread, which was soft and fluffy. I personally wouldâve preferred if the bread slices were slightly thicker because well, I love bread!
The Burpple 1-for-1 deal made the sandwich quite an okay deal, otherwise I wouldâve thought that the size of the sandwich is pretty small for its price. Wouldnât get it on its own definitely. A pity thereâs only one deal on Burpple Beyond for Sammies!
We visited on a weekend morning and it wasnât too busy. Thereâs quite a bit of seating space on the second floor.

The tonkatsu was tender and juicy, went really well with the teriyaki mustard for some savoury zing. The pickled golden pear and greens balanced all the flavours in the sandwich out and added a refreshing crunch too. The Gouda cheese was a nice addition but it wasnât melted in our sandwich which I found was a bit wasted - it was just a solid slice (on the menu itâs indicated that itâs supposed to be melted). Melted cheese in sandwiches is kinda the cherry on top for me.

Food was good, their regular coffee was a good pick me up too
