After all the heavy eating during the holiday, craving for something healthier.

Been a while since I last had the salad bowl from la juiceria. I had a mixed green base, topped with chickpea, sweet potato, beet root, turmeric cauliflower, tofu and lemongrass grilled chicken.

Always a fans for their tofu, it had a special taste that I love it. However beetroot was a bit disappointing, it's rather hard and bland. Luckily nothing can't solve with some red coconut curry dressing.

I'm impressed with the variety they have here. Apart from being able to curate your own salad bowl/wrap, their smoothie bowls are just as good too.

This time I tried their version of a vegetarian nasi lemak bowl (RM20.90 with tax etc). This turned out turned out to be so filling and delicious! Brown rice was used together with generous portions of pumpkin, mushrooms, cauliflower, a whole egg, tofu (I think), cashew nuts, cucumber, chips and alfalfa on top of it all. No sambal was used, instead, a curry-like sauce (not spicy) binded the dish as a whole.

I loved that cashew nuts was used and one thing that stood out was the cauliflower, which had a smoky taste to it which was unique! All in all, thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The prices may seem off putting at first but you get what you pay for (if not more).

Tip: use Favepay to get discounts in the future!

A venture by the team behind La Juiceria, here's a pretty lunch spot to charm you and the children into eating clean. Goodness Greens is housed in a lofty space that's cosy β€” perfect for meeting friends or eating out as a family. Let the kids head into the child-friendly zone, where they'll get to know their new friends in a cute teepee tent, all within your line of sight. To cool off on a hot day, have a freshly cold-pressed juice. Favourites include the health-giving Goodness Greens (RM12.99) with celery, kale and cilantro as well as the Cold Pressed Fruit Tea (RM12.99). For food, rope the kids in to build your own Salad Bowl (from RM14.90) β€” not only is it fun to assemble, it helps them learn the names of their veggies too! Alternatively, the Acai Berry Bowl (RM24) is a colourful smoothie bowl, extremely nourishing and fit for kids too.

LaJuiceria
All this while I was reading it as Laju-i-Ceria.
'A bottle a day keeps the doctors away'
So much goodness in just 1 bottle. The best part is that you can drink it on the go. Perfect way to meet your 5 A Day on a busy schedule. I think that's why 'LaJuiceria' can also be read as 'Laju i Ceria'.

From left to right, Goodness Greens' Granola Bowl (RM15) which come with a cup of Almond Mylk. Can request for a refill and I bet you will because it is delicious. The right one, Acai Berry Bowl (RM24), photogenic yet tasty. The cup at the top, Babycino (RM5), milk topped with cocoa & marshmallows and the cup at the bottom, Cappuccino (RM10).
