One of my favourite cafes located at Bendemeer — amazing fare with very delightful brunch food and pastas, and not forgetting a range of desserts which include cruffins & waffles. My previous trip to Glacier left me feeling so full I couldn’t get the waffle, but fulfilling the promise I made to myself I went back for it. The aroma of the Pandan waffle was rich, and the sticky mochi added a layer of chewiness with every bite. A delightful combination, but VERY filling. Both scoops of ice cream were decently executed as well!

Sad to hear that Glacier will be closing this coming End Jan 2023 and decided to make a trip down for their mochi waffles once again.

Their mochi waffles once again doesn't disappoint, with their good chewy texture and a crispy exterior. The pandan taste is quite prominent, which makes it fragrant as well.

As for their ice cream we got the espresso biscoff and the pulau hitam. The espresso biscoff has a good coffee fragrance and some caramelised notes after. Pulau hitam taste exactly like how it should be, just milker. We had their Uji Houjicha as well which the roasted tea taste was strong albeit abit too sweet.

Will miss you mochi waffles!😢

The Pandan Mochi Waffle is a must try here at Glacier. This is their signature dessert that everyone comes here for.

I was in doubt if this would be any good. Mochi+waffles was something I couldn't get my head around.

But, I was so wrong. Hot Mochi layered with the crispiness of the waffle was a strangely excellent combination. Topped off with the cold creamy ice cream, this entire dish was excellent.

Easy 5☆

The Junbo Crab melts is certainly 1 dish that catches my attention.

It certainly looks very good.

Bread was slightly toasted, cheese was quite good. Crab meat was ok.

Overall 3/5

please don’t waste your money here, matcha tasted flat and weak, bitter to the point you know it’s bad grade or expired matcha. No coaster too (no self-respecting cafes does this lol) and a metal spoon in the matcha? og guy who created matcha be rolling in their grave…

Add this bowl of creamy truffle tobiko pasta to your list of guilty pleasures. So decadent in terms of creaminess and ingredients. I loved the sauciness from the cream, which was so well balanced with the savoury flavours that I was so surprised that with all its cheese and cream it wasn’t too overwhelming. Both truffle aroma and taste were subtle, but any greater may have complicated the already strong flavours here. Loved the saltiness complemented by the very generous amount of bacon bits, and they didn’t scrimp on their portion of tobiko and mushroom as well. Having a bit of every ingredient with each mouthful of pasta may sometimes mean you’re truly getting your monies worth😜 $21 here does not make you feel ripped off. Your classic, authentic, Singaporean cafe styled creamy pasta done way too right🥹
