The highlight was the chicken thigh and curried cauliflower. Tender, flavourful, well charred and seasoned.
I would eat this over and over. Really quaint place to have a meal. Was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion of quinoa as most places do not serve up a decent amount.
Fairly priced.
I must admit that the DIY healthy meal ($12 for 1 protein, 1 staple and 2 veggies) I got from Gentlebros Cafe does not look like the most appetising lunch option out there BUT it is surprisingly delicious! The pork sausage is savoury and juicy and a great match with the tasty curried cauliflower, mixed cherry tomatoes in balsamic vinaigrette and brown rice😋 The portion is pretty decent for its price. I heard that the Boneless Chicken Thigh is very good too but unfortunately it was sold out when I was there. Looks like I need to revisit soon:)!
A reasonably-priced plate that will give you good vibes - pick a base/carb, a protein, 2 sides and a dressing for just $12nett. The chicken breast, though pale in appearance, was tender and juicy, thanks to sous vide I presume? The spicy mango salsa gave the dish quite a kick and was surprisingly hot so do beware if you can’t take chili padi too well! Overall a good selection for a healthy lunch!
Option to choose what you like or from the menu. I chose the chicken thigh, baked sweet potato, broccoli/cauliflower and soft center egg at $12. Generous portion and All so yummy! Was informed that they prepare the food after you order, hence tasted like home-cooked meal. They do not use artificial ingredients nor MSG. Vegs are fresh. Value for money!
Simple food done right. Made my own bowl with poached chicken, roasted vegetables, curried cauliflower, and pumpkin. Proteins seemed to have decreased in portion over time, while sides have increased.
