This zichar stall uses chicken cutlet in most dishes, which I guess helps hasten things. Unfortunately, it's super mediocre. It's not bad, but it's bland. The rice was much tastier.
Located in Food Republic opposite SMU, Chirashi-Tei offers a wide array of Japanese dishes at a Super affordable price. I ordered the chirashi bowl and upsized the sashimi at only $2 and was served with a heaping mountain of diced sashimi. This is as satisfying as it gets.
Generous portion for the price, sashimi was fresh and overall very filling! Miso soup was a little bland, but given that it’s a free add on, can’t complain much :)
Well, NOPE.
It was flat and oily a batter in a diluted yellow gravy .
Didn’t taste no salted egg no more

And at this price...
Is this what food has come to in Singapore? For $8.20 you literally get 6 thin slices of frozen smoked duck, a bowl of rice and 2 pieces of cucumber. So sad. Just looking at it makes me feel like crying. What a rip off...
Added two fish dumpling at $1.40. This deep bowl of hot soup bouncy fish ball and fat flat Kway Teow is price at $5. Total cost $6.40
