Oozy lava cake and decent mochi.
The staff provided a candle for us to celebrate my friend’s birthday! Food for thought has a lot of natural light and is a very comfortable place to chill especially after viewing the exhibits!
3.75⭐ Since we are visiting the National Museum, might as well dine at Food For Thought. I made reservation through the mastercard one dines free website. I called and confirm that it's 50% off for 2nd diner after the not so pleasant experience at BTM Mussels & Bar. I had salmon quinoa, it's healthy and tasty. WB had the aglio olio, it's slightly oily but it's spicy so suits his taste bud.

I almost live for days like these - a weekday afternoon with mum over tea treats. These are especially precious after I transition to the working live 2.5 years ago.
To strategically chart a good tea experience, the palate craved golden scones that kindled recollection of our time together in the UK. While the internet touted FFT’s as one of the best in Singapore, they were good yet half the mark of what we remembered from its English mother land.
Separately the sesame lava cake was what I’d term a fusion take on a classic sweet treat, it came with a flowing sesame paste center (see pictorial evidence 😂). The outsourced vanilla scoop was saccharine but the soft lava cake was quite a dessert when paired with tea/coffee without sugar.

FFT’s family set can be ordered from their oddle page. It features a hefty portion of meats! The roast spring chicken was slightly dry but tasty and stuffed with herbs. The grilled salmon was flavourful and moist. The BBQ ribs were really tender and doused with sauce! This makes for a really hearty meal at home.
