I was a little hesitant but man, I should eat this more. Rich porridge and addictive pork. What a combo.
My go to place for fried porridge, first had this at beauty world centre, consistency still there. It taste just as good here.
Got Wok Hei, very shiok in every spoon.
Ingredient portions were rather good.

Fried Porridge - The base is first prepared using a special broth (cooked with dry cuttlefish and other secret ingredients to impart natural sweetness), then scorched over high heat (you can literally spot the towers of flame from the open kitchen) in a wok to develop some serious char.

Visited Feng Xiang Bak Kut Teh’s BreadTalk IHQ Food Republic outlet with my friend for lunch recently:
~Herbal Bak Kut Teh Soup ($7.90 / $13.80)
~Sliced Pork Fried Porridge ($6.90)
~Feng Xiang Pork Cutlet ($7.90)
~Fried Large Intestines ($6.90)
Their BKT is the KL Klang style, with a nice herbalicious broth. It comes with ingredients like pork ribs, tau pok, pig’s stomach, fried beancurd skin and lettuce. I also recommend ordering a bowl of you tiao to dip in the broth - shiok! Their Sliced Pork Fried Porridge is even yummier! It’s so flavourful and full of wok hei! Each bite is a flavour bomb! The 2 side dishes were pretty good too, complementing the main dishes well!
