Came with extra coconut sambal sauce and spicy tomato sauce? I think
The chicken came right off the bone, made it very easy to eat. But it is a little dryer than expected. Coconut overshadows the sambal sauce, tastes more like laksa. The fried rice was disappointing for sure, tasted like Claypot rice instead, was expecting some wok hei but no…
It’s alright… but won’t order again
also since covid restrictions are kinda lifted, soup and ice lemon tea are self service!!
To all my Westies friends! 2021 is coming to an end, so let’s say goodbye to 2021 and kickstart 2022 with your favourite bites from @jcube_mall !
At JCube’s @eighteenchefs , you can expect an array of specially curated Christmas Sets such as Salmon with Garlic Lemon Butter Sauce, which comes with Truffle Mushroom Soup and Butter B. If you’re looking for quality western food at an affordable pricing, this is definitely the place for you! My top favourites were the Classic Fish Burger which boasts a huge piece of crispy fried fish fillet between the soft and fluffy buns, and the HA Ribeye Steak with Black Pepper Chicken Sausage which boasts tender and flavourful beef pieces.
Not forgetting to end off our meal with some sweet treats, we had the Black Beauty which consists of a warm and rich chocolate brownie, topped with a scoop of vanilla and chocolate ice cream.
If you prefer something that’s more unique, simply head over to @oh_my_mango_dessert_bar – a Thai-centric dessert cafe located next to the @therinksg . Their wide variety of desserts, ranging from Shibuya Toast to Bingsu to unique Frappe flavours such as Mango Sticky Rice Frappe, will definitely refresh your taste buds and leave you wanting for more!
From now till 31 Dec 2021, quote at the stores to enjoy:

Feeling broke this Christmas? Fret not, because Eighteen Chefs has a special Christmas menu comprising of butter beer and truffle fries to tie you through this season!
This dish definitely isn't the cheapest, but I must say that it's well-worth the splurge (compared to their regular menu where students, NSF and pioneers can easily spend less than $12). The turkey breasts came in 3 sizeable slabs, and oh my they're so tender to the point that I feel they're chicken breasts or pork chops! Well-seasoned and generously slathered with sweet cranberry jam, I definitely got the Christmas-y vibes and satisfaction from this.
And if you haven't known, most of the staff at Eighteen Chefs are youths at risk or ex-convicts, so good job you guys for the great food and service! 👍
Fragrant and the sauce is marvelous. However, the price is too high to pay.
Eighteen chef's cheese baked rice is still the best👍The cheese is thick enough & baked till melted and goes well with the creamy white sauce.
