Got this with 1 for 1.

Love that the waffle is thick and has got a good crisp to it. The buttermilk one tasted good and so does the charcoal one but the charcoal taste can be a bit more.

Both ice creams are good as well especially the taro ice cream which was a little surprising.

Overall satisfied but the food items here seem a little on the pricey side. Will only come with 1for1 deal.

we picked sea salt caramel for our choice of gelato. it was legit salty so that’s great for balancing the sweetness of all the other sugary toppings.

the waffles were not really to our liking as it was thick & quite dense, lacking buttermilk fragrance too.

We had the 𝙎𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙒𝙖𝙛𝙛𝙡𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙎𝙚𝙖 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙩 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙡 𝙂𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙤 [$15], which seems to be the most iconic waffle because it was at the top of the menu accompanied with a big ass photo lol. I think this one was my favourite! The marshmallows were astonishingly crisp on the outside and gooey on the inside, achieving the right balance of a perfectly roasted marshmallow (which I always try to create at BBQ parties but fail because I’m wayyy too impatient to stand around a small flame with 10 other people rolling their skewers anxiously as well). Ok I digress. We also chose the sea salt caramel gelato to go with the waffles, and it was really good! It was creamy and didn’t melt easily, and the saltiness from the sea salt was accentuated by the pleasantly muted sweetness of caramel. 😍

Delicious fluffy waffle, I chose Black Sesame & Salted Caramel Ice Cream to go along. Crowded on Saturday night but queue was orderly, managed to be seated within 15-20 mins. Service was fast, dessert was good

TL;DR— Overhyped & overpriced waffles and the ice creams weren’t amazing either. Other places have better waffles and same (if not bigger!) scoop of ice cream.

I LOVE icecream waffle sososo much so when I saw many of my friends trying this, I can’t help but to pay them a visit!! But hor, this visit was disappointing to say the least 😕 the waffles were too crunchy with no bite to it. I prefer waffles that have a crunchy exterior and chewy interior. However, @twentygrammes ones are a miss. They had a crunch but when we cut into it, the knife just went right through and straight for the plate, making a large PIANG sound which was sooo embarrassing 😂😂🔫🔫. Also, the waffles didn’t taste like much...it just tastes like batter LOL. Don’t have the nice vanilla taste like other waffles and also had a slight bitter aftertaste. Ok la, the outside tastes a bit caramel-y cuz of the browning of the sugars in the batter but that’s about it.

The Tokyo banana ice cream was my fav and had caramel biscuits in between them 😍😍 It was a nice surprise but that’s about it as it just taste like the yellow banana milk that can get from Koryo Mart or smth hehe. The salted caramel one we had some expectations but then again, it fell flat... it just tastes like (cheap?) vanilla gelato with salt and caramel (note: not salted caramel but salt AND caramel). The flavours didn’t even meld together. Very very disparate & disappointing. Also tasted like the caramel was burnt as it’s bitter and had that chaotah taste 😕😕

Overall, overpriced waffles, won’t visit again. If only I can get back my calories... 😤😤

4⭐ We are back at Twenty Grammes again. There's quite a long queue when we reach but we didn't waited for long. Tables are allocated based on the number of pax input in the ipad at the entrance which many diners are not aware of. I actually pity the shop owner next door which is also selling ice cream but it's empty and the queue at Twenty Grammes is so long which extend to their door entrance.
We utilised BurppleBeyond deal and ordered customised waffle. The Yuan Yang Waffle is 👍🏼 and WB remarked that we should ordered both Yuan Yang Waffles so that we can have the best of both world. 😂 The charcoal waffle is not on par today as it is not as crispy as the charcoal waffle in Yuan Yang waffle. I would prefer Sea Salt Caramel to Tokyo Banana as the sweet and salty taste for the sea salt caramel even out but the Tokyo Banana get sweeter and sweeter as u ate even though it's just mildly sweet.

Only able to testify for strawberry cheesecake and salted caramel.

Strawberry cheesecake tasted more milky than strawberry. Not the usually strawberry cheesecake w both a tinge of sweetness and saltiness from the cheesecake.

Salted caramel was salty. It was light but it tasted like some floral perfume. Had a strange aftertaste. My friends and I did not finished it before we left.

Overall, I won’t choose to visit here again only for the ice cream. But then again, it may just be my personal preference. Or perhaps the waffles and soft serves are really more of their specialty.

half buttermilk and charcoal waffle that comes with houjicha soft serve and some fresh fruit. the waffle was delicious and crunchy and the soft serve was really refreshing and has a strong houjicha tea flavour! the edible tiny flower petals need to go though, we all agreed they taste a bit a like tissue paper...

going to review the other two waffles we had as well but did not manage to take a photo before they were eaten: brown butter waffle and smores waffle.

brown butter waffle: buttermilk waffle with cooked apple chunks and crunchy crumble bits and vanilla ice cream. tasted like an apple pie sort of waffle and we deduced that the brown butter in the name is in the crunchy crumble bits (which were delicious) savoury, sweet & salty crumble that went well with the apple chunks!

smores waffle: buttermilk waffle with graham cracker bits, toasted marshmallows and we opted for a scoop of sea salt caramel ice cream, wow the ice cream was DELICIOUS, our waffle was a tad bit overcooked and too crunchy though, also looked darker than the other waffles, too long in the waffle pan?

4⭐ 1 for 1 Waffle using Burpple Beyond. It's so worth, $12 for 2 waffles. Both the waffle and ice cream are equally good.
