Went to Coucou Hotpot last week and ordered their Sichuan Style Spicy Soup Base, Bovine Bone with Tomato Soup Base, USDA Choice Beef Shortplate, Pork Belly Slices, Chinese Cabbage, and Fried Beancurd Skin (total $132.90/2 pax after gst and svc charge)😇
Overall ratings 8/10! Would say that the food quality is good, and ambience is very cozy and private👍🏻 They have chinese tea served, and free flow mala mushroom and lu rou fan if if you include the sides buffet😋However, I would say that it is quite an expensive hot pot place😅 Recommended to come if you like a more private dining setting!
the dahongpao & puer milk teas are damn aromatic👌🏼 but i decided to take a leap of faith and got the
Pineapple Green Tea Smoothie w Sea Salt & Jelly ($6.30). it’s more slushie than smoothie but still RLLY RLLY GOOD we were all pleasantly surprised!
Coucou Hotpot Tea Mi Tea’s bubble tea is hand shaken to achieve a perfect blend of milk and tea in a single cup! Just try their Da Hong Pao Bubble Tea ($5.80) and you’ll see what we mean.
Poor service. First time ordering from coucou and we were not sure which drinks were valid for burpple as there were no reviews yet and the menu provided is the full menu. Simin who served us was super impatient, even rolled her eyes at us when explaining the promotion. Btw the offer is only valid for CLASSIC (in her annoyed tone), i.e classic milk tea and classic bubble milk tea.
Milk tea is average might as well get from other bbt brands in Jewel
