Interesting name and one of the better dishes. Though the portion was disappointing for $12.50, there was a lot of fried flour that contained no chicken. But the flavour was there, tasted reminiscent of ēé „éø”.
Hainanese Pork Cutlet for $14.50++. The entire plate was drenched with sauce that was just purely ketchup. Only had 6 slices of pork underneath the piles of raw onion and fries. Pork was still pretty good, not too dry , still tender but far from being juicy. Would not try again.
Sadly, the sotong was over salted, all the black grill marks you see actually had grains of salt on it. But the squid was pretty fresh. Ordered three sets of sotong, the amount of salt among the three were vastly different , was not consistent at all.
Awesome view, chill vibes, delicious food! Pork chop was juicy and well flavoured. The sweetness of the Apple sauce went really well with the saltiness and meatiness of the pork. Itās quite pricy though, but I guess youāre paying for the ambience as well.
$12.90. It really is a baby chicken. Sauce is a tad sweet, thigh meat was tender but the rest was rather tough
Restaurant with sea view at Changi Sailing Club but it is open to public. Ordered sirloin steak, medium. It came almost well done. Sent it back to the kitchen. Second time round still a tad above medium but acceptable.
Food is reasonably priced but donāt expect great tasting. Just remember that you are there for the ambience and the view. The service was good. Waiter even offered to take a group photo for us.
Remember to book early and ask for a table with sea view as these are limited.
