one of my comfort HK meals! soup was a little too salty

Was quite disappointed at this since they mentioned it's authentic Hong Kong food and this is chef's recommendation. When it first arrived it looks nothing like those I had in Hong Kong, and I was wondering how can one go wrong with instant noodle right. But sadly even simple thing like instant noodle also tasted quite meh. The beef were thick but tough. The whole bowl just lacks of favour. In conclusion, I don't think this bowl worth my MOOlah sobs.

Purchased 2 $20 Fave vouchers with $14 each. Max 2 vouchers are allowed to be used per table per bill. With Fave $2.24 cash rebate, total spending was $36.25 for 3 pax -- value for money.
Fried beef kuey teow $9.50++ and cuttlefish ball noodle $7++ were both delish and satisfying.

Looks spicier than it tastes. But flavors were great! Generous portion of braised beef that were easy on the teeth, nice springy noodles & mildly spicy beef broth. Service here was great as well. Food was served quickly. Big tables & baby chairs provided. Great for family meals.

Best I've had so far authentic to HK's version is the one at Imperial Treasure Nan Bei @ Ngee Ann City.

The hor fun tasted legit with a slight charred taste, doused in an eggy medium-thick gravy; served with a fair bit of a variety of seafood: prawns, scallop and blue mussel. Overall score: 3/5. Priced at $8.
