A spinoff from Taiwan, Munchy BOX by Big Box serves up what they call a Bear Paw, which is really just a giant Kong Ba Pau, except it's wrapped with Deep Fried Chicken instead.

The Bear Paw meal ($5.50) includes fries and a drink (I had sugarcane). The chicken was crispy and tender, the Pau bun was really fluffy but unfortunately was too dry. I had to take sips of the sugarcane to moisten it lest it sticks to the top of my gums.

Overall this wasn't very filling, but nonetheless an interesting thing to try. I mean how often is it that you get a paw on your food? Come to think of it, the paw shape reminds me a bit of blues clues haha

Only going at $3 (!!!), Big Box definitely delivers in providing everything cheap and good. Here is their Mao Shan Wang soft serve sold at the Food Street at Level 1. I don't think it should be called a soft serve though more like hard or thick serve - this ice cream took me really long to finish and was very filling! I would say that this dessert is worth its price and offers a pleasant respite from your shopping.

Dinner last night!

➊ SOFT DRINK S$1.50 - refillable

➋ MEE SIAM S$3.50

➌ LIPTON TEA S$1.50

➍ WINGS S$7.80/6 pieces - buy 6 get 1 free😝 wings are decent but of course cannot be compared to our favourite IKEA wings.

Very mediocre waffle with a scoop of chocolate ice cream on it. They didn't seem to have a choice for the ice cream flavour, but I can't really complain since it was only $4. Waffle was $2.50, and another $1.50 for the ice cream.

Waffle with vanilla ice cream and maple syrup ($4.60). The dinner here was abysmal, which made it such a shame since service was superb. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

nope, nope, nope. Its very IKEA style but poor planning skills got almost all the customers (whom i have observed) messed up & the food wasnt nice at all. Fries lover like me couldnt even stand how the fries taste so weird (according to my family it tasted like it was fried with oil that was reused) nope not recommending it at all 😟
