was looking forward to try "50 shades of (earl) grey", only to be disappointed at first taste by its thoroughly icy texture. on the other hand, every spoonful of the taro coconut flavour was creamy and a good balance of taro and coconut.

red velvet and charcoal waffles are also available! we had the red velvet one - crispy outer layer and the inside had a density similar to that of red velvet cake. not the best waffle around, but somewhat true to the taste of red velvet. quite expensive at $6 for two pieces ($5 for plain waffles) but can try if you have a buddy to split cost with.

It was my first time here and I'm totally in love with the banana brûlée waffle and yam paste gelato! Slightly toasted banana slices topped with torched brown sugar and gelato made with yam paste from scratch work for me! The other flavour was yuzu choya but I don't appreciate choya so, meh.

Not the most impressive but definitely one of the most affordable ones around! I actually had their waffle twice; the first time was bad but this time it was acceptable, and this goes to show their inconsistency in standards. The salted egg yolk sauce itself was decent but I thought it didn't go well with the gelato. The caramel was grainy in texture and it didn't taste like the kind of caramel I know of lol. It comes with single scoop of gelato at $8.90; additional $4 for another scoop.

Fried chicken, waffle, and maple syrup, however at a more affordable price of $17!

Sounds like an odd combination but the whole thing works very well! It also comes with their specially made maple sauce. However, it is rather expensive for fried chicken and waffle and it sets you back at $21.90.

Ham and three kinds of cheeses, all put within a waffle. Roosevelt's also has one of the best waffles around!

The waffles were good; away from being crispy, somewhat dense enough and not too fluffy! I'm not a fan of bacons so I have no comments about it but the scrambled eggs were so good and they were so generous with it!! I'm definitely coming back!!

I was pleasantly surprised to have found such good waffles in NTU! Of course, it being cheap was another bonus!

Please come to froth for their taro waffles!! Every set of waffles comes with a scoop of ice cream. I can't really recall what are the flavours available other than earl grey and sea salt caramel because I was struggling between the two lol. 😂 This pleasant twist from typical cafe buttermilk waffles is quite filling by itself so I think it's great for sharing. And the earl grey ice cream was so good on its own!!

Very mediocre waffle with a scoop of chocolate ice cream on it. They didn't seem to have a choice for the ice cream flavour, but I can't really complain since it was only $4. Waffle was $2.50, and another $1.50 for the ice cream.
