Burger & Lobster (Jewel Changi Airport)

Surf and turf turned out to be preeeetty good! The beef patty was really juicy and flavourful, together with sweet, chunky fresh lobster meat topped with brie(!), truffle (quite mild) and taragon mayo, fennel and cabbage slaw.

Still as good as I remember with crisp fluffy buttery brioche, stuffed with sweet lobster meat tossed together with Mayo. A little squeeze of lemon and this can never go wrong with the lemon & garlic butter sauce.

Honestly quite enjoyable and what an indulgence! Wouldn’t say it’s worth cos it’s $39 for a laksa but it does come with half lobster ($69 for whole lobster). The gravy was rich and lemak, with the usual suspects of taugey, taupok and noodles.

@burgerandlobstersg is a relative newcomer to the local dining scene but is the one of the OGs for lobster rolls and probably the "inspiration" for several of their local competitors.

Each lobster roll features a toasted brioche roll topped with chilled wild-caught Alantic lobster meat dressed in Japanese mayonnaise and lemon with a lemon and garlic butter sauce.

I personally think B&L serves one of the better if not the best brioche buns. The brioche buns are soft and pillowy on the inside and slightly crisp on the outside. The lobster meat is kinda on the dry side so I will recommend drizzling the lemon and garlic butter sauce over it.

At $31 ala carte or $37 with fries & salad, it's probably the most expensive. Its good but not that good for me to fork out the extra dough. Once in a while or for a date night, okay lah!

Back to Burger & Lobster for their Lobster Roll and loved the generous serving of lobster meat in the brioche roll✨🦞✨Probably the only item we would get from their menu- tried the original lobster previously and wasn’t too impressed😂

Ordered the 4 pax set meal via ChangiEats. Very disappointed as the food reached us cold and the fries were mushy too. The delivery was also much delayed but merchant didn’t even provide any compensation. Never order ChangiEats if you stay a distance from Jewel. 😠
