There was also no other diner and the menu was not as extensive as a proper Italian restaurant should have. The waiter also had difficulty communicating in English π Other than the generous portion of pasta, I donβt have any other good impression on this restaurant π

Hard to go wrong with coffee-soaked cake (don't think they used ladyfinger cookies), mascarpone and chocolate. Menu description mentions Marsala wine, but couldn't really taste any. It's also more chocolatey than most tiramisus, but my sweet-toothed friend didn't mind that one bit.
When dining at new places, I usually go for the signature or recommended items. For their pizzas, Hawaiian was labeled "Bestseller", while this bore the seal of Chef's Recommendation. Wasn't that keen on the former, so we opted for this pie with pepperoni and white onion. I liked that their homemade dough wasn't too thick nor chewy, but other than that, this tasted exactly as what you would expect. Enjoyed this more than the pasta, but I wish they used better pepperoni.
Initially wanted to try this and another pasta since there was an ongoing 1-for-1 pasta promotion (3β7pm), but note that this dish isn't eligible for said promo.
While I managed my expectations for this dish , we were hoping for a little bit more from this "bestseller". The porcini filling wasn't that great and the flavour-packed bolognese sauce was competing for our taste buds' attention.
I love squid so while I was skeptical whether they really use fresh squid for this, I was more inclined to try this than the other recommended not-so-Italian appetiser (fried chicken wings).
Nothing to shout about really, but I have to admit that the batter tasted a little better than it looked, though still doubtful about the freshness of the (too) thin and rather bland squid rings.
