Ham and cheese pie @ $5

Super good pastry, especially after toasting it. The pastry is flaky, but has good thickness and can taste the butter layer. The ham and cheese are super good too, and the small olives complement them very well.

The cashier says this is their new item for the month and not sure they will continue after this month or not. So if like, need to get more within this month πŸ˜‚

Pain au raisin @ $3.20

The outside is nice and crispy while the inside is soft and pulls off perfectly. Love the layers within the bread and the amount of raisins in it.

Only thing is it's just a tad too sweet for me. But still love it.

Onion bread @ $6

Always been eyeing this bread cuz it simply looks good but always got turned off by the price.

BUT it's really really good and it's quite a big portion + it always comes with ham inside so it's actually quite worth it!

can’t recall the exact name of the bread but the taste is unforgettable :”))) great when eaten at room temperature and even better when reheated! loved the generous amounts of dark chocolate chunks and aromatic coffee dough 🀀

This bread was really similar to the coffee chocolate bread in the sense that they are braided and have a cookie topping, except this one is made entirely out of chocolate dough and has melted chocolate inside too.

Honestly I couldn't really taste the chocolate in the chocolate bread itself, but the rich melted chocolate hidden under the cookie crust was a lovely surprise πŸ˜‹ I think the chocolate would have worked better if it was filled inside the bread itself instead of on top of the bread and under the crust because some bites were really bready while some were super chocolatey. Maybe it's just because of my messy ass way of eating the bread tho πŸ€” the cookie crust, as usual, was buttery and had a slight nutty flavour which I loved. Seriously can Donq and all these cookie bun bakeries just start selling the cookies straight? Thanks πŸ˜›

Though there are ground up pistachios on top, I could barely taste them so I guess they're just for decoration. Overall a really great bread, bit on the pricier side but still amazing. I'd definitely choose this one over the coffee chocolate because of the added melted chocolate here.

πŸ€‘ worth the price: somewhat but I wouldn't mind if it was a little cheaper

I decided to try this out seeing how beautiful it was and what a good call that was because WOW this is some good ass bread😍

The coffee cookie on top is sweet with a pleasant coffee aroma, and the little chocolate chips elevated it for me. The bread itself was really soft with chocolate stripes twisted into it. This bread tastes like a regular coffee bun, except spruced up with chocolate and being about 20 times better.

Definitely 100% worth trying this if you're ever at Donq!! They also have a regular cookie version but I chose the coffee one instead since I love coffee buns. Maybe I'll be back in the future to try the regular one πŸ˜—
