$24.50 for two.
Rather affordable for two pax as I ordered quite a lot. I rather order from this stall than the one inside Bugis Junction
Not to confuse with another almost similar name, Blanco Beef Noodle is am individual shop located at Bugis along North Bridge Road under Wisma Alsagoff. A simple bowl of beef noodle start from $5.90.
Want a good bowl of beef slices soup but yet didn't want to break the bank? This is the place for you as we have found out during our lunch at Bugis yesterday. The broth was very light and not too beefy while the special marinated beef slices was uber tender. Overall, a very comforting lunch that wraps you like a blanket during rainy days.
The sauce for this dry noodle option weren't as thick and zhup-ish as I'd like them to be. But I was surprised at how the light and slippery texture of the noodles had me really going non stop, till the end of the meal. And these sour pickles!! Ah I love them!!
"Blanco Court" brings back fond memories, as I used to study near there and would buy cheap things from the while sale market.
Not sure the relation of this shop to Blanco Court, but I liked its smooth savoury sauce and generous ingredients. Opp Bugis Junction.
Porridge not available so I ordered sliced beef noodles dry and soup version, and fried chicken wings. I chose yellow noodles. The soup tasted robust and meaty. A bit salty but still good. I really like the dry version. The sauce was flavorful and covered the lye taste of yellow noodles very well. I was astounded by the amount of beef in the bowls. A good number of huge thick slices that were so tender. A few pcs were a bit tough to chew but considering the generous portions, I was willing to overlook it. Chicken wings were very juicy and well seasoned. I enjoyed them. I love love love the chili sauce. Very very spicy and aromatic. This was like the main for me. The noodles and chicken wings were just the sides! ๐ Total bill $15.
