Unwind at Birdie Num Num Gastro Bar with Burpple Beyond's 1-for-1 Mains, Pizza or Caesar salad/soup deal. Opt for the popular miso cod or try the pan-seared salmon if you're craving something light yet satisfying.
Got the burger, and ordered well done.
Not the biggest fan since they relied heavily on a lot of sauce for the taste.
The burger was substantial in size though, so I would recommend it if you are looking for a filling burger meal.
Also tried their cucumber craft beer which is really light. Come before 8pm for their happy hour. The one for one deal is really worth & would recommend people to drop by.
Usually there isn’t much food options in Kembangan — but I wouldn’t mind having dinner again at Birdie Num Num.
Love the fish and chips. Generous portion of lightly battered and thick fish and yummy fries.
The fish was really nice and flavourful & not too salty.
This dish is actually pretty good that I would consider getting it again.

Tried a couple of dishes from this popular bar in Kembangan, and was pretty impressed!
Hokkaido Scallops Aglio Oilo ($19.90) - if you love your garlic, this is for you. First thing that hits you is how garlicky this dish is, and the scallops were well seared and were fresh! I believe the pasta noodles were homemade!
Donald Duck Leg Confit ($16.90) - pretty tender, the duck leg was also sizable and flavourful. Absolutely loved the roasted potatoes, as the skin was so wonderfully crispy.
Duck Fat Fries ($10.90) - now this is very sinful, but so shiok. Though it was kinda soggy, it still tasted pretty good. Hard to describe but somehow these fries fried in duck fat taste much better than normal fries!
The desserts were great as well, especially the Chocolate Soufflé ($11.90). Rich, bold and chocolatey, the soufflé was a great way to end the meal. Shout out to the homemade vanilla ice cream as it paired the soufflé so well!
At $19.90 nett, @birdienumnumgastrobar pork knuckle is one of the cheapest, messiest and most delicious pork knuckles round town. The meat within is moist and flavourful, while the pork rind that’s been cut in pieces beforehand is ultra crispy & stunningly satisfying. Wash that down with a $11 pint of beer at happy hour, and all is well with the world for just a little while.⠀

Birdie’s got islandwide delivery going on right now, with a minimum order of $55 and a small $5 delivery fee. It’s a little trickier than usual to hit $55, as none of Birdie’s mains, pastas or even pizzas breach the $20 mark. So get in there and support these birds, ASAP. #savefnbsg isn’t just about supporting famous cafes & restaurants during this coronavirus shenanigan. It’s also about supporting your humble neighbourhood watering holes. Beat the beer virus with more beer. It works, trust me bro.
Didn't realise how poorly taken my photo was but anyhowwwwww this was damn good!! The beef cheeks were so tender and flavourful, and I loved the little crispy, lightly charred bits on the sides. Mash was alright, a little bland but it was great with the slightly salty beef. All these goodness for only $14.90. +mummy boss is really friendly!
Hand-cut potato fries are being deep fried till golden brown and served with some magical dust of Parmesan cheese that were made to melt on top of the fries. If this does not make you want to order yet, I do not know what will. Best served with a pint of cold beer.
One of the signatures is the Miso Cod, which comes with a portion of the moist and tender codfish that has been marinated with Japanese miso and seared till golden brown upon order. For just $15.90, this is definitely a steal as you will not only get a premium cut of oily fish, there's also a bed of risotto that comes with it.
Just minutes away from Kembangan MRT Station lies family-run Birdie Num Num Gastrobar, a convenient laid-back neighbourhood hangout that serves simple, honest café-style fare. Go for the Miso Cod ($15.90) that brims with Japanese familiarity – a lovely miso-marinated cod sitting on rich, cheesy risotto. For a no-brainer option, go for Birdie's Burger ($15.90), a beef patty loaded with melted cheese and bacon. This is one of those casual spots you’d be grateful for, a place in your neighbourhood where you and your friends can knock back a few and have a good time.
Whilst the risotto gave the cheesiest pickup lines, the cod tasted all Japanese style meets zichar. For its price ($15.90 at point of publication) this was buttery good fun. 3.5/5

The duck confit had a waxy, glazed personality as if it had just waltzed in from a nearby Hong Kong barbecued meats hawker stall, but for the price ($13.90 nett at point of publication) this was greasy good fun. 3.5/5
P.S. This newly opened joint - two minutes away from Kembangan MRT - serves up more neighbourhood café-style, cheap and good fare as opposed to "media tasting" chic and Instagram-friendly delights, so bring your non-"serious" foodie pals down and have earnest grub whilst knocking back a few - I did, and had a surprisingly good time.

This June #circuitbreaker extension is really stretching our f&b so places like these need your help. If you're living nearby there's also 20% off pick up (WhatsApp). The #fishandchips was so generous I didn't know how to finish - the fish was also super fresh and tasty with the homemade tartar. Their #tigerprawn #pasta was also good but travelled less well than f&c.
If you are a meat eater, try their beef burger, pork chop, oxtail stew or lamb shank. Alongside a side of spam fries yaas.

Love this new joint in Kembangan neighborhood. Had a chat and learned that the owner is the chef, everything is prepared with personal touch and full of character. Mummy boss is very hospitable and an asset to the restaurant too. We had foie gras, pan seared scallop, duck fat fries, beef cheek, miso cod, lamb shank, baby back ribs all were delicious👍🏼
They enjoyed the food too. New items we tried were Duck confit and pizza. Ordered the duck fat fries again, sinful but yummy
