Cafe Belle-Ville at Vivocity is a charming spot to unwind, but it's clear they're already gearing up for the festive season. As we visited during the midday rush, the cafe was bustling with patrons seeking a cozy retreat.
The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the Tiramisu Pancake. The rich, creamy tiramisu flavor was pronounced, and the subtle sweetness was balanced perfectly. The addition of blueberries between the pancake layers added a delightful burst of freshness.
We also had the roast beef sandwich, which was a decent option. The beef was tender and flavorful, but the sandwich would have benefited from a slight toast to add some crunch.

Aside from their signature made-to-order pancakes, Belle-Ville Pancake & Coffee's Matcha French Toast ($15.80) was surprisingly delightful - as the brioche was said to be soaked overnight in egg mixture before being grilled lightly on the griddle. Served with a fun layer of stretchy mochi skin, dusted with matcha powder and icing sugar, the order came with sweet Azuki (red beans), an earthy scoop of matcha ice cream and fresh berries. The rich eggy flavour and custard-like texture of the soft toast was the best part for me - almost melty and not all that sweet.
For the pancakes, I would usually stick to their Mango Pancakes ($16.40/ 4pcs) but their Christmas limited-time-only special, Tiramisu Pancake ($16.90) was pretty good. Stacked with smooth mascarpone cheese cream, the cocoa-dusted pancakes were soft and fluffy with a lingering eggy fragrance. There were tart mixed berries compote hidden in between too to counter the sweetness. Seeing that they are a pancake speciality cafe, the mains like pasta and curry omelette rice were more than decent as well.
