Lamb, "pork belly", beef & chilli, beancurd skin-wrapped vegetables. Ngl, the best lamb skewers we've eaten in our Chinese BBQ adventures - and we're vets, starting way before it became mainstream. The very fat morsels were an explosion of flavours. The "pork belly" however was the opposite. First time we encountered shabu pork masquerading as pork belly. It's thin and burnt so it's really pointless. Beef was good too but beware it's paired with real chilli. The owner recommended the beancurd skin-wrapped vegetables, which we hadn't tried before. The strong and contrasting vegetables made it interesting.
I can't tell if it's because we requested less spicy, there's not much taste or flavour to this. As usual it's a huge bowl with generous fish for two pax. But relatively little ingredients, mostly tau gey.
