โค BLACK SESAME BAO dim sum time. If you love black sesame flavour you have to try this! Soft on the outside while oozing with black sesame filling inside ๐. (S$3 for 2pcs)
Another one of my favourite dim sum here is their fried mango prawn roll (S$4). The Honey BBQ pork bao is more on the sweet side, but its not bad too (S$3.20 for 2pcs). Everything was served piping hot and the prices here are affordable considering the location.

Flavourful and succulent, dumplings thinly wrapped and full of meat and ingredients.
Affordable and filling.
Beef brisket maggie mee and deep fried radish cake sticks. Thereโs nothing healthy in this picture at all! Lol.. but oh so satisfying! TGIF! โค๏ธ
Sunday lunch at Bao Today and the dim sum are actually better than expected (ok my expectations are not high to begin with opps)! The ไธไธ้ข (instant noodles with luncheon meat and egg) is tossed in XO sauce and is simple but satisfying. The other dim sum items are pretty decent as well, such as the harkow (fresh shrimp dumplings) and chee cheong fun (fresh prawn rice rolls)! Not the most mind blowing dim sums out there, but pretty good quality for dim sum under $20 per pax๐๐ป!
There were ingredients like chicken, mushroom, salted egg and prawn!
The century egg porridge came with shredded chicken instead of minced pork though.. and the chicken was super duper dry. Not something that I will recommend

The Char Siew Noodle ($6.80) has a flavorful combination of garlic, pork lard, char siew and soya sauce gravy that make the noodles simply umami! A mouthful of the QQ texture of the noodles with a piece of tender Char Siew, OMG! It was so heavenly! Next come the steamed pork Siew mai, 3pcs at $4.50. Look at the generous portion of the bright fish roe on the Siew Mai! It brought some crunchiness that feel like dancing in your tongue. The crispy spring roll ($3.80) were very flavorful with the crunchy turnip, black fungus and carrots. However, the spring roll skin was a little too thick. If they put more ingredient inside the spring roll, this will be the best spring roll compared to others. We also ordered the baked BBQ Pork Pastry at $1.50 each. Overall a satisfactory meal with prompt and attentive service. #msqeats #burpple
