Been There, Ate That.
Always love a classic dish, Ma Maison’s Tonkatsu never fails to disappoint. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside.
Lovely dish and full of proteins, this item itself can be shared amongst the group or have it as a main on its own. It’s really filling! I had this for my dinner and some fries shared with my husband and it was totally just nice. If I had ordered another main dish, my tummy would have exploded.
Quite a sumptuous meal for breakfast, they have everything. Even my favourite baby potatoes. One thing I have to mention apart from their food, is their service. Their staff are very attentive, they noticed we were with a baby they even offered that we can raise special requests if we have any to one of them after ordering through the QR code. That’s really assuring. Just a note to parents, their restaurant has a flight of stairs and no lift.
Of course we had to order their outlet-exclusive item since we are already here. Their Sando is actually not bad, the chicken party was already flavourful on its own and their bread is fluffy and toasted.

The scotch eggs were soooo good, it’s like a flavours explosion in your mouth. It’s good on its own but if you find it a tad salty, pair it with the toast that has smashed avocados, green peas, carrots, mint leaves, lemon and grated pecorino. It’s a marriage of flavours done well.

They used chicken breast for this sandwich but it was sontendwr and juicy it did not even tasted dry. It goes impeccably well with the avocados, salsa, bacon and cilantro sauce. It's packed with flavours and the sandwich was bursting (literally) with ingredients.

The burger portion are super huge and served with fries, you may top up for their sweet potato fries or onion rings if you are feeling fancy.

The chicken cutlet was so worth the money, they have increased their prices recently but in this pandemic businesses are all affected and may well be justified. Their fish and chips is also one of their best-sellers, be sure to try before they move out from this area.

Very normal. Flavours feels like they are lacking something, wish they were more robust. I ordered the one without "hum" (cockles in hokkien) so they gave a lot more "taupok" (fried beancurd in hokkien) and fishcakes.

Portion of the chicken was huge, it was so crunchy and well marinated. The set comes with fries, coleslaw and a fried bun. You may opt to switch the fries to rice/spaghetti. Please choose the spaghetti if you go for the carbs version, it's a definite win over their rice. Their coleslaw and fried bun was also sooo good better than the famous fast food chains.

The braised meat was mixed of fats and lean meat so it was perfectly balanced and so well seasoned. Served with a side of cucumbers, picked vegetables and a braised hard boiled egg. Everything was so well-balanced and fits each other perfectly together with the braised sauce. Another dish that I will definitely order here.

It's a close fight with the famous DTF's Pork Chop Fried Rice but may I say this was a winner or even better. I thought it would at least be less steamy and soggy after the delivery but no, it's still soooo good. I would have this once dining in is allowed. I want to have this again served fresh out of the kitchen to me piping hot 🔥
