Also a fan of duck confit, i decided to try their rendition of the duck confit which is served with black rice, honey garlic soy sauce, potato gratin, asparagus and maple apple.
the duck leg was really tender and early to cut into. but i felt their sauce was too sweet and the black rice was slightly weird. for me, only the gratin worked well with the duck leg.
really love the ambience here- it’s so cosy where you get to sit on sofas which were slightly low but not that convenient for a meal. chit chats and high teas would be great here. good dating spot here too as it’s pretty quiet
onto the food, i ordered my fave dish here after i tried it at their jewel outlet and that would be the wild salmon fettuccine!!! really well balanced dish. we ordered a side of mala spicy chicken pop which is a different take your usual kfc popcorn chicken.
Duck confit, Japanese cucumber and chives wrapped in crepe served with balsamic glaze, truffle and argula salad
I was swoon over by arteas-tiq (pun intended) presentation of the peking duck roll. My first thought: hooray to a fuss-free, mess-free version of the peking duck! It’s all rolled up and nicely and sliced into bite size versions- no need to get your hands dirty at all! The best part? I’m probably paying a fraction of the price I otherwise would have if I had to order a full peking duck to satisfy any peking duck cravings. Taking in the first bit, I could taste the hoisin sauce and crisp cucumber. It was refreshing, yet and umami. I like how the egg crepe was done perfect - nothing like rubbery tapes or prata that’s been left out for long in the open. The disappointment tho - was that there isn’t any crispy peking duck skin (too much to expect for something at this price point I guess!) and the shredded duck was a tad too salty for my liking. Would I order this again? Probably not, tho it’s an overall well executed dish and probably one of the less common items from a typical cafe fare
Love their wide selection of teas available & also the interesting flavor cookies that comes with it. Highly recommend their lychee tea 👍🏻
Order the high tea set for 2 at $48++
The tea choice in the photo was iced lychee tea and hot honey lavender. Tea was fairly good. However, the food was not up to my expectation. Felt very similar to catering food small bites. First time i had afternoon tea and was not filling at all.
Also, note that hot tea is refillable once with hot water but one of the server gave us the wrong info (say no refill) when we ordered. Service overall was fairly good.
• Lychee Tea, Iced (S$11++)
• Chrysanthemum Tea, Hot (S$11++)
Would recommend Lychee Tea, refreshing and sweet. Skipped chrysanthemum tea, tastes like something you can boil at home.
• 2 Specialty teas of your choice (except alcoholic range)
• 2 Signature Teasery (cookies)
• Savories:
Vol au vent with tuna and cheese
Foie Terrine on toast bread, yuzu marmalade, and crushed pistachios
Smoked salmon roulade with cream cheese and tobiko
Truffle shell pasta
• Sweets:
Chocolate cone with banana custard
Mini New York cheesecake
Mochi
Macarons
S$48++ for 2 pax
Savouries:
~ Vol au vent with tuna and cheese
~ Foie Terrine on toast bread, yuzu marmalade, and crushed pistachios
~ Smoked salmon roulade with cream cheese and tobiko
~ Truffle shell pasta
My ultimate fav frm the savouries is the truffle shell pasta! The truffle taste is strong and the pasta is cooked just nice too! (not too soft, not too hard) The overall texture of the truffle pasta is so smooth! Super tasty! 😋
Sweets:
~ Chocolate cone with banana custard
~ Mini New York cheesecake
~ Mochi
~ Macarons
As for the sweets, my favourite was the mini new york cheesecake! The texture of the cheese cake was perfect and the taste of it was decent! The rest of them were also pleasant to hv!

I enjoy having teas any time of the day esp with the super good ambience at Arteastiq! Arteastiq’s lychee tea is hands down one of the best i’ve had thur far! The tea is served in a transparent pot which makes it so presentable and good looking! Along side it is the tea cup with the lychee in it! The entire pot adds up to about 3-4 refills, which makes it super worth it! Not only is it light and refreshing, what i felt made it even better was that it isn’t too sweet! Some teas are just overly sweet which isn’t to my liking:/ The lychees are also fresh, sweet and juicy! Overall, definitely a super good quality and perfect drink i must say! Love it so so much!! For sure would never give this lychee tea a pass whenever i visit arteastiq! 😍

This was a plate of delicious slurpy goodness! I’m not a fan of creamy pastas, but as described, this pasta was tossed with a light cream base, with a kick of garlic and spice which I thought enjoyed! Amazing flavour and pretty decent portion of crayfish, though I would definitely want more. However, spaghetti felt pretty stale, and though I polished this dish in a matter of minutes (I was so hungry!), I felt that even if it wasn’t handmade pasta, the spaghetti could afford to taste fresher and cooked al dente. But I admit, sometimes when you taste well textured handmade pasta, it is difficult to look at factory-made pasta the same. Nonetheless, ambience here is amazing, and this price point is definitely worth it compared to the duck confit!

This dish came in a considerable generous portion - huge duck leg and a good number of sides. The duck itself was delicious and meaty, but honey garlic soy sauce was a tad bit too salty and strong in its flavour to my liking. The black rice was slightly harder in texture than I’d expected. Overall I felt that it was a decent plate of duck confit. Luckily, the winner of this dish was the duck and it’s meaty goodness. But with the price point, I must admit that I felt like it was not very worth it.

Yet another high tea session with the dowager, I must say, their dishes were pretty mediocre, but decent given the price tag
What I truly enjoyed here was their tea, with the Ice Lychee Tea being hella refreshing amidst this sweltering heat! Judging from the other patrons table, I Guess this is one of their signature since this was practically on everyone’s table.
Super refreshing and it isn’t too sweet either.

🍹 Lychee Tea | $11
📍 @arteastiq at Mandarin Gallery, Orchard
Loving this asian-western fusion pasta! Served with pan fried cajun prawns and mantou bun. For chilli crab lovers, this is definitely for your liking! Personally, I find the mound of mantou bun a tad bland but I reckon it would have tasted better if it was deeply fried enough.

The Macaron was also not overly sweet. Haha there was a missing Macaron when they served. Luckily we noticed and they add it back for us haha.

With a wide variety of tea and other beverages, it’s not hard to find a fit for everyone.
Other than the iced Lychee tea and fizzy Earl Grey, a hot spiced tea with rum would be a smooth drink for the bolder.
There were also options with a scoop of ice cream, or blended tea or coffee for an icy treat.
Think chargrilled juicy chicken with thick satay Beehoon, chilli crab sauce pasta with fresh prawns, and sambal lobster with dry fried laksa.
They were restaurant take on hawker food done right and we loved them all. The chilli crab sauce was the thick and tasty with the right kick of spiciness for locals or foreign friends. Satay chicken was well executed with crispy charred ends, sauce with thick and good though we would love more peanuts.
We gotta mention their sambal lobster with dry laksa last. The dry fried laksa was by far the best version we had tasted. It had a good consistency with the thick Beehoon and laksa sauce that was cooked and thicken with all that rich laksa flavours. And we couldn’t get enough of the sambal that was just so yummy with lots of Hei Bee bites.
Love the iced pear tea ($11/pot) it’s light, refreshing and not too sweet. Though the price is slightly steep, ambience is cosy and you can choose from a huge assortment of tea and spend a lazy afternoon chilling out here. Light snacks, main courses and high tea sets are available here too.
This looks so much like a stock photo but is honestly just the on point lighting✨. This was really creamy and hit the right amount of matcha taste ☺️☺️
