Iced Alishan Tea ($3.80) was a light and refreshing treat. Do note that this does not actually contain milk, it just appears milky because the ice tea is shaken. They leave the teabag in there so you know the tea is legit from tea leaves in a teabag. I enjoyed this drink, though it is slightly on the pricier end for a simple non-milk no-toppings iced tea (compared to other tea outlets that have plain teas going for $3 or less)
Love the iced pear tea ($11/pot) itās light, refreshing and not too sweet. Though the price is slightly steep, ambience is cosy and you can choose from a huge assortment of tea and spend a lazy afternoon chilling out here. Light snacks, main courses and high tea sets are available here too.
Black Tea Latte with Pearls ($3.90(M)) milk tea was slightly above average, nothing to shout about. The interesting thing about Hollin is the handmade pearls. The daily pearl flavour is Honey White Pearls. There is a special flavour that rotates on a daily basis. The one we had was Black Sesame (Saturdayās flavour) which was interesting and you could really taste the black sesame, but in terms of texture, slightly on the tougher side. Worth a shot with Burpple Beyond.
Strawberry Green Tea ($3.20(M)) refreshing drink for a hot day. Available on Burpple Beyond!
Went for a Tea Appreciation Workshop here by Charlene ($30-$45 per pax, depending on number of people + whether food is included) and it was great!! Charlene was super knowledgeable and open to questions and we got to sample 4 types of tea and try to brew them too! Apart from tea appreciation classes, they also retail a large variety of high quality loose leaf teas, tea discs and teaware! Prices are steep but itās high quality stuff.
