AMPM Cafe

We were pretty stuffed after brunch at Magic Kitchen but couldn't resist checking out AM:PM Cafe's soft serve ice cream.

The moment that you step into the cafe, you will be struck by the warm alluring aroma of fresh handmade waffle cones. You have to top up for these but the crunchy biscuit-like cones are definitely well worth it.

We had their coconut and black sesame soft serve twist. I dont usually fancy coconut (ice cream or otherwise) but theirs were really quite good in a creamy and yet refreshing wah. The black sesame though was a little lacklustre in comparison.

I choose popping pearls, mini marshallow, nata de coco for toppings and maple sauce for sauce. I felt that chocolate was overshadowed and covered up salted caramel taste but tasted like strong hints of hazelnuts. As ice cream melted so fast, it didn't affected egglet to be soggy. Egglet just be chewy, easily to cut through and complemented well with ice cream.

Topped w strawberry Pocky, Gem biscuits, Nata de Coco with Berries sauce. Lovely treat for dessert~

Chocolate x Salted Caramel Swirl w Egglet ($9) 🍦🍫
This was quite sweet 🍬🍬and my friends shared that the chocolate was overpowering :( , they could barely taste the salted caramel 😰😰

Vanilla x Thai Milk Tea Swirl w Egglet ($10) 🍦🧋
Definitely our preferred flavour combi of the 2! The thai milk tea was fragrant 🍵 and made us feel like we were having iced thai milk tea! It felt almost refreshing HAHA The combi of both flavours was balanced and light enough to complement the egglet. 🤩🤩

The egglets here are freshly made to order and are crispy on the edges with delightful soft pockets of batter that resemble eggs 🧇🧇🧇 Soft serve flavours change every month! We had their earl grey x blue pea vanilla in the past and loved it!

AM:PM cafe is a cosy neighbourhood cafe tucked in a corner of AMK. Their concept is quite unique and draws in good crowds after dinners. Their staff seemed quite disorganised and the cutlery was not the cleanest but overall they serve up insta worthy soft serve, worth the price and portion sizes. 👍👍👍

In house flavors of ice cream, surprisingly nice as much as it looks. Not heavy as well. Worth the try!

Yummy ice cream, tried Grapefruit Beetfroot egglet, Salted Caramel + chocolate cone and another scoop of Blue vanilla.
Friendly staffs...
Only felt abit uneasy when 3 persons (look like owners) walked in n kept looking around.
