Refreshing to the palate, the flavours in the combination are well-balanced, with the tinge of wasabi spice complementing the freshness of the seafood well.

This meal for $25 is really worth it. Thereās crab, prawn, fish slices, two types of roes - what more can you ask. Above all theyāre fresh and sweet! Yummy!
The dĆ©cor is not very zen, but service is attentive and the food is very good. The unagi, tempura and snow crab don is sensational, and at $25.90++ for the set (which includes chawanmushi, miso soup and dessert) represents excellent value. In fact, unless you indulge in freshly-flown seafood, itās quite reasonable here. Do try the exquisite egg tempura. Yakitori fans can enjoy the chicken cartilage or gizzards.
had a peaceful dinner here at Ami Ami (Great World City), on 27/11/17. ordered the Ami Ami Kaisen Don ($21.80) as the main dinner dish and it did not disappoint! in terms of quality, freshness and presentation to top it all off. it featured soft, smooth sashimi slices, one slice of each fish, that I felt were of a just-right thickness. Iām not usually a fan of tuna but this one was very palatable. what seems to be their specialty, the snow crab, was very fresh. although it didnāt have the light sweetness Iād expected, it was worth savouring every bite nonetheless. I liked the mini box of crab-roe-sashimi at the side, it made for a delicious combination with the rice. the only thing I was at issue with was that there was a bit too much white raddish between the rice and the ātoppingsā, it made for a bit of an inconvenience when eating. perhaps it was cuz I wanted to eat toppings/rice together, perhaps it was cuz I was too excited to try it all. if it helps, service when I went was pleasant as well! I highly recommend this dish for if youāre looking for a sashimi bowl at a standard price. note that Great World City is not very accessible by mrt, but this made my trip worth it.
Ami Ami is currently having a promotion of $3 for 3 amebi tempura from now till 3 December with every meal ordered. A great steal!
One who usually shuns the head of amebi tempura because I find the top part of shell too hard to chew, the heads today were wonderfully crisp and honestly, the best head of amebi tempura I've tried to date. The oil must've been boiling at the perfect temperature to achieve that light and crisp bite. That's all I have to say.
Craving for tendon and after some deliberation, decided on Ami Ami because it's still the most well rounded tendon place for great food, service, ambience and price tag. Tendon at $18.80 before service and tax.
