Truly Japanese Food
A delicious Japanese dessert after an excellent Japanese meal. Really sweet musk melon and persimmon together with the daifuku mochi made excellent end of the meal items.
Fukusen @ Killiney has these very fresh and yummy ark clams. It comes with the clam shell hence the freshness. The meat is crunchy to bite and tasted very sweet. This newly opened restaurant along Killiney Road offers really good Japanese Omakase. Go before it gets crowded after more can be allowed to dine in.
Uni is very fresh and eating it just with the seaweed is the best way. Chef Andy at Kei Hachi made this delicacy as part of the omakase meal.
The sashimi here is really fresh but the chefs just don’t stop here. He added uni etc to enhance the dish.
This is not the usual Hokkien mee sold in Hawker centres. It’s the authentic Hokkien mee started by the Hokkien long time back. The gravy is just the right texture not too liquid nor thick. Add a dash of the black vinegar provided and the taste changes. The acidity actually enhances the noodles overall taste. Ingredients like prawns, pork, fish slices form the whole dish well. This dish is not on the menu. Advance order must be made at least a day or more before. The other just as good dish is the mee goreng. No advance order needed.
Had a very good Omakase here. Unfortunately Burpple does not allow more than one photograph I’m unable to show all items. All items are fresh and well cooked. Like the wagyu beef dish that was very tender, tasty and the amount of food overall is worth the price.
This restaurant is an offshoot of Fukusen Japanese Cuisine @ Hotel Clover along Jalan Sultan. Situated just across Pahang Street, diners can be seated in either restaurant and get the best of both. This lamb rack is done just right - not overly nor under cooked. The slightly burnt rosemary herb added to the aroma very well. Will go back to try more of the izakaya items on next visit.
To end the Omakase dinner during fruits season this restaurant allows you to choose two of the seasonal fruits which the chef will cut two or three slices of each choice. Good way to end a yummy meal.
This is the almost last item of the Omakase meal and the taste is deliciously amazing. Unagi is fresh and well cooked with the rice. Sauces is just enough for the rice not overwhelmingly salty nor sweet. A good item to end a yummy delicious dinner.
This Omakase course consists of 16 small dishes and every one is delicious to taste and pleasing to the eye. Very fresh fishes and good combination of sauces for each dish. Chef Tsuzuki really knows how to please the customers.
Inside Every, a Japanese mini mart is a cafe that sells good Japanese styled western food like this beef and chips. Tender beef and good sized chips.
Loved this chicken hotpot and was back again to see there’s any drop. None at all. The chicken collagen stock is just as strong and smooth. Chicken is well tender and juicy. Love all the fresh vegetables put in to add more flavour. If you have try this then go queue and see what’s an excellent chicken stock soup is really like. There’re other dishes to try too.
