Aloha Poké (Jewel Changi Airport)

The food was pretty mediocre. Went in and was told that Pie Tee wasn’t available. Little did we know, another menu item also not available. Well, guess only their beer was good. Food really soso.

$13 for one scoop of original salmon poke filling with lettuce, rocket, pickled ginger, chuka wakame and brown rice. Delicious and healthy!

Located on the 5th floor of Jewel, Aloha Poke is one of the many food options available here. We had a choice of a base, protein and two sides. I chose salmon in wasabi mayo sauce, with tamago and avocado as my sides and it was really good! The sashimi was fresh, but I couldn’t really taste the wasabi mayo flavor. Their portions are good though!!

Huge chunks of salmon sashimi coated with the mentaiko sauce that wasn’t over rich. Along with mango chunks which added a tinge of sweetness, as well as almonds for a good crunch. The two tiny Japanese grains tasted fairly bland on it’s own.

Wild rice was rather new to me. Didn’t expect it to that chewy. Pretty decent dish but the serving was rather small IMO.
