[CLOSED] All Things N'ice

All Things Nice is a smallish dessert shop just opposite Food Republic food court at the basement of Suntec City Mall. There are a few dim sums but it's really the Asian desserts you should be looking out for. Please read my review at www.hungryghost.sg

My top 3 spot for local desserts. Chendol ($2.80) and gula melaka ice kachang ($2.50) are two of my favourite items here.

Yam Paste was thick and pretty flavourful, with a balance of flavours without turning overly sweet and covered with ample coconut milk to mix. Gingko nuts can be cooked softer and pumpkin despite inducing its natural sweetness felt kinda unnecessary here. Perhaps I just like this dish to be as plain as possible.

Lots of ice and very milky. Quite different from the picture in the menu. The view of the fountain did help a little to alleviate that.

Chendol can be found in many parts of south east asia but they come in different variations :) this one is more of the malacca gula melaka ( palm sugar ) one ..see that yellow strip ? That's Jack fruit ..goes well with the ice dessert ..of coz u have to like Jack fruit to begin with 😉😁..ok go have a good lunch and dessert !

Anyway received sad news 😢 tmr's the deadline for my tour and it might not materialize. Will have to fall back on my back-up plan to go Greece instead. Sigh... Was so looking forward to Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia.
