Devastatingly Disappointed

No matter what you say, the onions are obviously not caramelised. The colour is wrong and sour is not sweet. 😣

With no food coming out of the kitchen for almost half an hour, it is simply ridiculous. #cedelesingapore

The yolk was almost fully cooked. 😞

The Yuzu & Chocolate Milkshake ($7) barely had any yuzu taste (it would be good as just a chocolate milkshake). The Key Lime Tart ($7.90) was quite ex for such a small slice. Also, the meringue was too thick that it was almost cloying.

However, the beef leaves quite a lot to be desired. The ribeye was a very thin cut and tasted lukewarm, like it had been set aside, waiting to be served when the other mains were done. The tenderloin was one tough cut and hard to saw through.
Tried this restaurant because it was on 1 for 1 on @grabzsg and thought it might be a good deal but don't think I'll be ever coming back 😔

I know everyone is saying how good this is but I think it is just so so. A bit overhype. •

Even the rolled up ice cream next stop was quite sloppy and the ice cream is just haphazardly piled on. The ice cream also melted really fast. If I had to recommend a flavour, it would be lychee and mango.

The waffles were crisp but eggy. Also, there were little signs of the homemade butter sauce that came with it. Sad to say the chocolate ice cream, which looked more like red bean, tasted like those cheap and artificial chocolates.

If you choose to have the salad buffet alone, which includes pastas, soups, fruits and ice cream, it is $17.90.
However, they managed to butcher all our ribeyes. I really hate places that can't get their steaks right. Whether we ordered medium or medium rare, they all arrived well done, and still on a hot plate, so they ended up over cooked. 😣

I didn't have this but general comments around the table were that it's too tough and rubbery. Definitely overcooked 😔

An absolutely mediocre cake. Too sweet with a mousse like texture, and a thick and soggy base. To make things worse, the top layer was like a plastic film that came off with my first bite.

The spinach pesto burger with pork patty. I couldn't taste the spinach nor the pesto. The pork wasn't discernible either. But I liked the beetroot and charcoal buns as well as the beef and chicken patties. Lucky it was just one burger out of the three!

Lots of ice and very milky. Quite different from the picture in the menu. The view of the fountain did help a little to alleviate that.
