Den Ajisen (Square 2)

Consists of a bowl of ramen, a side and a drink.
I had the Scallop Ramen Black. Black here referring to the black garlic oil added to the ramen for an extra layer of smoky earthy tone.
I don't really have much trust for Ajisen as she have let me down on multiple occasions but this time round is good.
Ramen broth was super savoury, rich and thick. Ramen was soft, slurpy and chewy. Comes with bean sprouts, negi, loads of scallops and half a ajisuke tamago. Egg needs more marination.
Original Gyoza had a soft skin and within it was tasty meat. Taste wise pretty standard.
Drinks is Iced Lemon Tea.

Kumamoto Ramen

Order through deliveroo, taste pretty good... the tonkotsu soup was still hot and the ramen was springy, the cha shu was quite dry though.

Have not had Ajisen in a really long time and saw that they have different types of flavour! Tried the garlic soup based Shabu Ramen but I think the usual soup bases still taste better. Had the white fish and chicken karaage as sides. Found it overall okay but nothing new.

Look at that yolk...YUMZ! 😋 (and a greedy somebody stealing the appetisers)

I love how chewy and soft the slices of pork.
