Nicely plated chicken thigh roasted with slight char on the skin, topped with kai lan and sunflower seed. Tamarind BBQ sauce is a nice addition to enhance the flavour of the chicken even further.

As compared to previous year, the butter chicken this year had a much stronger taste. The gravy is more flavourful and goes really well with the pancake at the bottom.

Whereas in comparison to the Coconut Yogurt bowl, the yogurt is not in good terms with the acai but definitely healthy as they used greek yoghurt.
Interesting twist to their signature puff design, this year national day special OCK is going with the more traditional type of thin crust curry puff. However, thin crust doesnโt mean skimpy fillings. Look at the savoury and spicy chili crab fillings that is filled to the brim!

Went on full mode dim sum spree at Summer Palace lately. Picked a few of their steamed and fried dim sum on the menu. Fantastic food with a dash of luxury! Bird nest on top of prawn dumpling, mini abalone with siew mai, fried lobster roll and lobster rendition of siew mai. Definitely will make another trip back here at summer palace again!
Great shoutout to Baonowโs tau sar bao! Super fluffy skin with great texture. Generous red bean paste goes into the bao too! Given the size and the generous filling, itโs definitely worth the price. They are selling in a pack of 6 for $8 that is great for sharing with a family.
Adding black glutinous rice to their regular taro pie is completely awesome! Thankfully it is not as sweet as i am expecting and the fragance from the pulit hitam was a nice touch.
A whole new range of selection from the japanese curry house. Going with their new beef yakiniku on this visit with level 2 on its curry. Sliced beef was thick and kind of chewy but still goes well witb the rice. However, i believe they change the curry receipe because it doesnโt taste like what i remember from my previous visit... about... 2 years ago? Maybe?
Godiva has been the go-to store for expensive chocolate gifts and quality ice cream treats but they seems to have gone abit off on their cup-style ice cream. The sweetness of tanzania dark chocolate banana is not what i have expected from a dark chocolate ice cream and the banana taste was too artificial. Hazelnut praline is too milky and not even a hint of hazelnut at any point of the whole cup. These are a miss from Godiva.
Back by popular demands, the double beef patty are slatter with sweet and spicy rendang sauce. Except that the sauce was a tad too sweet for my perfect rendition of rendang. However, the addition of peanut bits is a good one to add on the crunch. It was my first try on burger kingโs rendang burger, but i wouldnโt say this is the burger i would go back to.
