Very authentic and amazing Pho! Affordable at $11+ with lots of beef. Bun cha with spring rolls is very fresh and tasty too. Coffee is also strong.
Mixed grill and a medium rare ribeye steak. The grilling was done so nicely - charred outside but not burnt, soft and juicy on the insidessss. Of the platter, I liked the Iberico pork best, so if u can only get one thing, get the pork!
Also they serve actual mushroom soup and not cream of mushroom, loved it!
Can't rmb the exact breakdown of the dish, it was 17.4++ in the end
Gotta say sun-dried cherry tomatoes were an interesting ingredient, it really was very intense and very dried. But too intense to be taken directly, probably best to be cooked in soup or sth.
The aglio tasted nothing like aglio honestly. There's barely any garlic, it's more a sour and slighty sweet sauce. Incredibly salty too. The staff said their aglio is on the saltier side of things. No this isn't saltier side of things, it was so salty it's almost bitter.
Overall very overrated place, the vibes were casual yet we paid 30 a pax at the end for 1 appetiser and 2 mains, with minimal customisation. Not only that, the food wasn't even that good. Could barely taste the flavours in the gimmicky pasta themselves, and it's unbelievable that a pasta place undercooked their pasta. Please just go to a proper pasta place, I have no idea why they're so hyped.
Char-grilled Japanese unagi glazed with a sweet teriyaki sauce on a bed of premium Japanese rice.

Overall their portions are pretty damn big, about one dish per pax should be good. I evidently underestimated them and we dabaoed almost half the meal back haha
This one taste like their 干锅鸡(signature ckn), except with a nice fragrance from the chili(slightly spicier, but still very manageable). But given that they're rather similar and the signature ckn has the fantastic pancake/flatbread?, I would probably get that instead
probably one of the best mac and cheese i’ve had in my life - very good deal with burpple 1 for 1. portions are HUGE though so not too suitable if you have a small appetite

Buangkok residents can now escape the sweltering heat at this new hipster gelato spot in Hougang Green Shopping Mall! With it's flashy neon lights and unique gelato flavours, be sure to add on Waffles for $5 to go along with a single scoop ($3.90) of Hojicha, Caramel Popcorn and White Chrysanthemum & Goji Berries. Burppler Xing Wei Chua sang high praises for the Milo Dinosaur, which was "sufficiently rich without biting the throat given the “heatiness” of Milo and just sweet enough without being cloying."

Got this with Burpple 1 for 1. Tbh wasn’t expecting much from the steak but it was surprisingly not bad. Juicy, a good cut. The mash though. Not the best — very lumpy. Their fries, on the other hand, were 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Place was crowded as I went on a fri night! Got the matcha and dirty chai and both were great 🙂 Burpple 1 for 1 is rlly worth as each scoop now is only $1.90!!! The service crew are super friendly too and helped me retrieved my change which I dropped on the floor. Would really go back again soon!
Bet we all miss Thailand. Their set up reminds us so much of Bangkok. Get yourself a bowl of boat noodles and you will know what I mean. It’s very close to what we had at Victory Monument in Bangkok but triple the price. Well with burpple beyond 1 for 1 it’s totally worth it! Do make reservations before heading down and ask for outdoor seatings!
