Anago is basically a salt-water eel, or unagi’s cousin as I would like to call it!! It’s thinner and less oily as compared to unagi! The anago was grilled and was super soft, even the bones were pretty soft and I didn’t really have to chew much before swallowing them. Wanted to try the salmon dons but I was feeling under the weather so I ordered this instead. Will be back to try the salmon dons soon!!

Ok this is probably the most underwhelming & disappointing thing I’ve ordered this year. I was expecting them to at least use homemade soy milk, however, this was literally nutrisoy soy milk with granola and 2 fruits, all of which can be found in any supermarket and prepped at home!! It’s really not worth its price and I would rather make this at home myself and add more variety of fruits.

This place really reminded me of ichiran ramen in Japan. As soon as we sat down, we were handed an order sheet for us to customise the entire bowl of ramen, from the richness of the soup base, to the toughness of the noodles to even the garnish on top! The chashu was soft and tender and cooked to perfection. The broth was thick and aromatic and you could taste the depth of the soup. Granted it was pretty salty, but I guess Japanese food are usually towards the saltier side!! Pretty decently priced at $13.9 per bowl!

Amazing amazing food!! My favourites were the garlic snowing pizza and the triple garlic seafood pasta!! The garlic snowing pizza was topped with garlic flakes and generous amounts of cheese. It really took me by surprise when I took my first bite. There was a burst of flavours and the cheese was savoury and a little sweet. The toasted garlic flakes added the extra oomph to the pizza and really took it to the next level! The triple garlic seafood pasta had the right amount of spice and was simply scrumptious! These two are the absolute must try’s when you visit!! The garlic ratu fattuccine was rather underwhelming and frankly too greasy for my liking! The beef steak cubes were a little too tough but on the bright side, the portion was pretty generous as compared to the triple garlic seafood pasta! Overall, the food here exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be back for more!

The spaghetti was tossed in rich, creamy sauce and generous chicken chunks and bacon bits!! It wasn’t as heavy as I thought it would be and didn’t leave me feeling too greasy after the meal. I’ve tried their signature roast chicken with mushroom Chardonnay sauce as well and it’s definitely worth a try!

This has been hands down the best mushroom soup I’ve had in sg!! The aromatic soup has a smooth creamery texture with mushroom bits. It’s definitely a must-try in when you visit this place!!

Second time here!! Somehow it just gets better and better?? I got my usual matcha lava cookie however this time I topped it with black sesame ice cream! The ice cream was fragrant and I could taste the black sesame that had gone into making this gelato. I never knew that black sesame could complement the matcha
lava so well and was truly impressed by it! Tried the iced strawberry sundae tea as well and it was so refreshing!! They even put 2 tea bags inside so that it wouldn’t be that diluted after the ice melted. I will be back for more heheh😚

Finally a legit cafe in NTU!!! My friend and I got yakitori don and it really does look like decent cafe food! The don was topped with edamame, corn, pickles, onsen egg, and yakitori. I actually rarely see cafes choose to put edamame into their donburis because it’s not a crowd favourite but somehow it worked really well in in this combination. Being a huge fan of mentaiko, I was pleasantly surprised to see mentaiko mayo on the yakitori! It’s pretty affordable too, priced at $7.2 for ntu students!

Super! Fresh! Sashimi!!!! It tastes fresh outta the ocean🌊 Even the rice they use has a distinct fragrance and it’s fluffy and milky! The tempura is not as greasy as one would expect as well. Easily one of the best jap restaurants in sg. However, it’s super pricey and the bill totalled up to around $130 for 3 sets! Would only dine here on special occasions heheh

The charcoal crunch had lotus biscuit bits that added texture to the smooth creamy ice cream! The staff was super friendly and offered to let us try a few flavours before choosing which flavour we wanted!

The laksa pizza was topped with prawns, sotong and even fishcake and really tasted like laksa!! The crust was crunchy and fragrant and it was a rly solid pizza. The crab pasta was pretty spicy and it was topped with aromatic cheese slices that went really well with the pasta!!
