Ordered the soft shell crab pasta, which was loaded with generous amounts of gravy with crab meat! Loved this although it was a little too spicy for me.
My fam and I were all mind blown by the neighbour’s curry! It was rich and creamy and tasted like a mixture of curries from all different cultures. It was accompanied by a few pieces of garlic naan, which was already delicious on its own, but became absolutely dreamy when paired with the curry gravy! It was my family’s pick out of everything we ordered.
This meal came at a shockingly affordable price at $36 for 4 quality mains! (With the burpple deals) I would suggest they adjust their ac to be a tad stronger as my dad was sweating buckets by the time he was done with the neighbour’s curry hahaha

Omg this was so good!! My family was literally fighting over this. The cheese was soft and stringy and it felt like I was eating pizza. The truffle taste wasn’t too overwhelming and the smoked salmon tied the entire dish together. !!9/10!!
The chicken cutlet was crispy and not too oily! I think the tomato pasta was a tad too watery for my liking but I loved that they added spinach to create more texture and flavours to the dish!
The black pepper chicken was rly peppery and fragrant. Loved the onion rings, hated the coleslaw (but I hate coleslaw in general sooo) ordered their mushroom soup as well but it tasted more like a cream soup, not the best. Wouldn’t be back again tbh!

This aglio olio was pretty spicy and not as garlicky as usual aglio olios but I think they still did a pretty good job with this! The grilled chicken was so tender and well seasoned! Worth a try and pretty affordable too
Tucked away below a hdb is this quaint little cafe! So glad I found a new acai place!!! Ordered the Tropicana, slightly different from the usual acai bowls topped with blueberries and strawberries. This bowl was topped with mangoes, dragonfruit and passionfruit. I was pleasantly surprised by how sweet the passionfruit was as the passionfruit sold at local supermarkets are usually really sour. They also have the option of an unconventional drizzle- the macadamia nut butter! The highlight, however, is definitely their homemade granola! It has a rly nutty and homey taste and isn’t too sweet like the granola that an acai affair uses. A huge thumbs up for their granola!!
Their interior is rly pretty and I love their wooden furniture and honeycomb mirrors hehe (looks straight outta a Pinterest pin). I have to comment however, that they took quite some time to make our acai and my friend who had patronised this place quite a few times also pointed out that they take a really long time to prepare the acai bowl (she had to wait 30 mins once!!) so be prepared to wait quite a while especially if you’re coming on the weekends!
Overall, a really different take from the usual acai bowls and I really love their homemade granolas!!! They actually sell individual packets of their homemade granolas but be it’s too pricey for me to bag home😢

The chicken rice pasta wasn’t that great. Their chicken was pretty bland and tasted abit like food for ppl who are sick. My aglio alio was pretty decent with their own homemade pasta topped generous tobiko and fresh prawns! I love how they added the bacon bits that added flavour to the entire dish!

Located at an unsuspecting end of pasir ris central hawker centre, lies wild olives where you’ll see snaking queues at any time of the day. Looking at the queue of about 8 people, I quickly joined the queue thinking that it would move quite quickly, however, I was wrong. The stall has a system of taking an order and making that order individually before moving on to take the next person’s order and this inefficient system is why the queue was moving at snail’s pace. Nonetheless, that didn’t faze me, and it took 30 min before I could finally place my order. The preparation of food was pretty fast and we only had to wait around 3 min.
Their grilled chicken was moist and tender unlike the conventional grilled chicken we get from other places that tend to be dryer. I love the signature mushroom rice which was super fragrant and appetising especially with the generous amount of onions that they added. The herb roasted potato wedges were also pretty well seasoned however, it did get a little too ‘jelak’ for my liking after a few wedges. You also get a bowl of pumpkin soup for just additional $1, which is super worth btw!
Overall, I can see why this inconspicuous stall is extremely popular with the crowds. They take conventional western foods and added their own flare to it, which turned out surprisingly well! It’s also super value for money considering the generous portions and quality of food. I would be back again if not for the long queues I have to conquer first!

First time trying the tortellini and would you just look at how cUTE IT IS?? It’s shaped like a little hat with cheese fillings tossed in tomato sauce! The grilled chicken was rly flavourful and tasted homey hehe
The quaint little place was filled with a wide array of flowers and ornaments. I think that the decor was all over the place and frankly a little messy! But overall there are some good spots for insta worthy photos and it’s a pet friendly cafe so that’s added points over there!

Idk why we chose all the prawn based mains but we did! The prawns were rly fresh and aromatic! My favourite was the pasta. The cream based pasta was light and smooth and I could almost drink the cream sauce on its own! They were generous with the king prawns and I would definitely be back for the prawns!
This fast food chain isnt popular w Singaporeans and I think I found the reason why. We ordered the cheese burger set and it was a tad disappointing. The patty wasn’t as flavourful as we would like it to be and the cheese was too salty!
Super friendly staff tho! They offered to deliver our food to our table even though they didn’t have to!
Overall, Marrybrown is definitely not a competitor of more well-known fast food chains like mac & kfc hence not many would flock here.

The laksa pizza was topped with prawns, sotong and even fishcake and really tasted like laksa!! The crust was crunchy and fragrant and it was a rly solid pizza. The crab pasta was pretty spicy and it was topped with aromatic cheese slices that went really well with the pasta!!
