Bff & I were a little puzzled when we saw the 4 tiny brown cubes and we realised we were actually supposed to let it melt over the salmon chunks to season them! What an interesting way to start the meal hahah

The salmon cubes were lightly torched which added a smokey flavour to it, and melted as soon as I placed it in my mouth! It’s rly affordable after the burpple deal and was only $6.5 per bowl! Why are there only 4 deals per restaurant😩

Eggplant, mushroom, fish, ebi, you name it, it’s probably in this bowl!! Overflowing with veggies and proteins, this meal will definitely keep you full for the rest of the day. The original signature tendon was super flavourful and well marinated. The portion is huge and I had a hard time finishing it😪 extremely value for money!!

Anago is basically a salt-water eel, or unagi’s cousin as I would like to call it!! It’s thinner and less oily as compared to unagi! The anago was grilled and was super soft, even the bones were pretty soft and I didn’t really have to chew much before swallowing them. Wanted to try the salmon dons but I was feeling under the weather so I ordered this instead. Will be back to try the salmon dons soon!!

Finally a legit cafe in NTU!!! My friend and I got yakitori don and it really does look like decent cafe food! The don was topped with edamame, corn, pickles, onsen egg, and yakitori. I actually rarely see cafes choose to put edamame into their donburis because it’s not a crowd favourite but somehow it worked really well in in this combination. Being a huge fan of mentaiko, I was pleasantly surprised to see mentaiko mayo on the yakitori! It’s pretty affordable too, priced at $7.2 for ntu students!

Their unagi was grilled to perfection as always! Their generous portion of unagi always exceed my expectations and it’s really affordable($10) with the eatigo discount!! It’s a super chill place as well and it’s perfect for drinking or just having a quiet meal with friends!

Their signature garlic fried rice is super fragrant and it’s a must-try when you visit!!

This dish was topped with a generous serving of salmon and mentaiko sauce! The salmon was really fresh as if it came straight out of the sea hehe. This dish comes in 2 sizes I went for the larger portion. It was a lot bigger than the truffle beef don and I wasn’t able to finish the rice. They also order a free switch from white rice to brown rice so for those health conscious people out there, this is perfect!! Overall this meal pretty worth @ $16 for 2 dons and their prices are nett too! I would definitely go back there to try other dishes on their menu!!💯

This dish really stood out to me even though it looked mediocre. The beef was super tender and cooked to perfection (medium rare I believe). The smell of truffle was really strong and it elevated the taste of the beef. The only complain that I have is that the portion was on the smaller side but overall it was easily one of the best truffle beef don I’ve had. They really nailed it!!
