had the Oreo Bingsu ($12.90). didn't taste like actual Oreo, they probably used another brand but it's all good. ice cream tasted a little bland though! i can't believe i just found out there is another Nunsongyee outlet that's nearer to my house!!

had a cup of Matcha Latte ($6). it had a strong matcha flavour but without it being bitter! real matcha lovers may find this a little sweet, but i'm not that big of a fan so this one was perfect for me!

i'm really sad this place is gonna close down in june because it brings back so much memories when i was much younger! i had the Grilled Fish Combo with Seafood Paella Rice & Mashed Potato as my sides and Grilled Salmon with Tangy Peri Peri Sauce as my premium side, all that for $19.95! the Peri Peri Sauce of the Salmon was sweet and wasn't that spicy, and gave both fish a tangy taste till the last bite. the Paella Rice was flavourful, and the Mashed Potato had a creamy touch. i'm really gonna miss Fish & Co Glasshouse a lot ☹

in this picture also includes the Peri Peri Catch ($17.95), Grilled Chicken Combo ($19.95), and the Shrimp & Clam Aglio Olio ($16.95).

there are so many cafes in this area i have to check all of them out soon oh my! anyway, i had the Beef Bolognese ($12.90) + Soup & Drink Set ($4.90) (Cream of Tomato & Mango Fizz) for dinner. the taste of capsicum and red peppers was really strong. not the best pasta, but i guess for this price, it was alright. the cream of tomato was not bad, it had a taste of sour cream which i liked. the cheesy garlic bread at the side was something interesting, compared to the usual plain garlic bread.

in this picture also included the Smoked Duck Aglio Olio ($14.90), Tom Yum Seafood Pasta ($14.90) [which is their recommended but i'd say it was alright, i could cook that at home myself] and the Chicken Chop ($13.90).

a great way to end a meal at Chomp Chomp, which was just 2 minute's walk away. the moment i walked into the place, i smelled the aroma of waffles and knew i was gonna get some good stuff 😍 we had the red velvet waffles ($4.70) + 2 scoops ($5.60) (bananas about nutella, cookie monster). the cream cheese in between the two waffles stacked together gave the waffles much more flavour and made it more "red velvety". waffles were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, and it was not too sweet. probably one of the better waffles i've tasted! would come back here again to try the other waffles. the ice cream flavours were a little sweet, but what are waffles without ice cream right?

NEWLY OPENED! this place only opened recently and i am so excited because this cafe is only one minute's walk from my house! i liked the ambience of the place, it had the chilled, relaxed kind of feel. the Poached Salmon ($20) caught my eye while i was looking through the menu, probably because i was craving for it! the salmon was not fully cooked, and it was more raw than cooked. i didn't mind, of course. i was able to peel off the flesh easily! combining it with the sweet onion salad and cous cous with raisins, it had a good mix of flavour which made me very pleased. i'm quite sad i didn't manage to try their desserts, apparently they are pretty decent! the waiting time was a little long, food a little pricey, and the menu selection was pretty limited but i heard they are going to add on more variety, just not sure when. can't wait though!

in this photo also includes the Duck Confit Pasta ($19), Short Rib Ragu Pasta ($22) and Butternut Pasta ($17).

day well spent with my teammates 👍🏼 thanks for today guys! so, i had a waffle [$4] with two scoops [$6.40] which were Salted Caramel & Speculoos (my two favourite flavours! 😍).
the waffles were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which was perfect, but somehow lacked the taste Sunday Folks has. however, both ice creams were so rich in their flavour, i fell in love instantly. they also had such a wide range of flavours i was spoiled for choice! definitely coming back here again!

burgers in a hipster kopitiam! had the Captain Hook ($22) which was the cod fish burger. i liked the dressing of the fish. there was a bone in the fish which i was a little disappointed about but it's okay, the generous portion of cod fish made up for it 👍🏼 we also had the Nutella Cheesecake Milkshake which was not in the menu. it was sweet and it was a great way to end the meal but it tasted more like cookies & cream which was perfectly fine with me too 😍
in this picture also included the Ripper's Classic ($16). thanks for the food invite @jack_the_ripper_burger !

had bingsu as supper last night at Bingki! another bingsu place which is open 24/7! we tried the Oreo Bingsu ($14) and the Green Tea Bingsu ($14). first thing that would catch anyone's eye would be the cute presentation of the bingsus! these were not so heavy as compared to other bingsus, and it was great way to finish off a meal. there wasn't any condensed milk too, which made me feel better because it seemed more healthy hehe 😉 a little expensive for its small portion though.

NEW branch open at Thomson Road! had the Pulled Pork Sourdough ($17.90) and accompanied it with a Butterscotch Latte ($6). the cafe allowed lots of light to enter with the open concept. not the best pulled pork because it was a little dry when eaten alone, but it was alright with the help of the eggs on top. more sauce should be added to the pulled pork to give it more flavour and make it more moist! the latte was more on the sweet side, though i couldn't taste any distinct flavour of butterscotch. however, the wide range of flavoured lattes was interesting!

in this picture also includes the 3 Tier Brioche ($15.90), German Pork Bratwurst Croissant ($12.90), Fruity Waffle ($15.90) & the Salted Caramel Latte ($6).

finally dropped by Whisk & Paddle for a Good Friday brunch! i had the Macaroni & Cheese ($13.80), which tasted great till the last bit. it was cooked in pink sauce, which made it not "gelat" and did not make me feel full. portion size was just right as well. and of course their signature presentation of the mac & cheese makes it so unique! i loved the open concept of the cafe, and even though we were sitting outside it was still cool! waiting time however should be improved though.
in this picture also includes the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict ($13) and Bolognese ($15.80).

had the Pesto Chicken Penne ($14) for lunch. though the presentation of this dish wasn't great, the flavour was definitely something. Montana's homemade Pesto sauce was 😍 the shredded chicken could've been less dry though. nowadays everything is about presentation, so i hope Montana changes the look of their pasta dishes!

in this picture also includes the Spicy Bacon Pasta ($14).
