红烧牛肉面 beef noodles with soya bean sauce & spicy & 清燉牛肉面 original beef noodles 🍜! One of the better beef noodles we had in Taipei! Definitely worth awarding Michelin Bib Gourmand. We love the spicy soup version with hot, flavourful soup. Beef chunks were tender and juicy in both broth:) .

Was prepared that there will be a long queue but to my surprise there was no queue during lunchtime on a weekday. the 2 level restaurant was filled with tourists including me😂. Had their signature Spicy braised beef noodle with soybean sauce (红烧牛肉面) and Minced meat with fried bean paste noodle (炸酱面) along with my favourite Oolong bubble milk tea from Tenren tea 😍
The serving was generous, thick slabs of Australian beef served. Not really spicy and broth was flavourful, heavy seasoning and i’m quite sure the noodles were handmade, similar to din tai fung’s, little sweet and chewy. However, it didn’t give me a wow factor. Decent bowl of beef noodle with good price value at only $9-$10 sgd. If i’m local, i will still return for sure. #jxeatstravel

Word has it thatt he beef stock soup base purportedly comes from a gigantic pot which has been boiling for months with a fresh top up with new batch of bones, and other condiments on a daily basis. Truth or not, the soup is hella robust and full of flavor. The Australian beef used is simmered till it reaches the optimum melt in the mouth consistency while the noodles still retain a much welcomed texture.

To avoid the queues, come during off peak periods and you can get a seat almost instantly, otherwise you’re gonna wait for at least 15 minutes. #gastrologyintaipei

I love this so much. It stinks by the way so stay away if you already were wary of intestines but I love it 🤤

Our most costly meal so far (we've been eating like poor kids so not a good gauge, but this is definitely priced more for tourists. Still affordable though!), but the chunks of tender beef (skip the tendon) and fragrant soup made up for it, while the pig intestine item was FANTABULOUS. Only complaint was that it came in this wooden dimsum bowl thing, and we thought it filled the entire bowl, but NO it only filled half and we were heartbroken.

Had to wait for 15 minutes for a table for 2.... I guess... We were lucky.
