Chicken with scrambled egg on rice, a very fancy description to the dish but nothing too fancy about the taste. The chicken had a nice charred taste to it, not sure if it’s intentional. Would probably try their grilled fish next time!
Very generous with the beef and I really liked the sweet sukiyaki sauce! The rice also helps to balance the sweetness out when it gets too much. Rice is also refillable (although I didn’t need it). The restaurant is also ideal for big groups!
Give this Tonkatsu Teishoku a try! In terms of its quality and sauce, this tonkatsu is on top of my list of good and affordable tonkatsu in Singapore. Yayoi also provides free flow of rice so it’s guaranteed that it’s filling and satisfying 🙂

Hitsumabuhi is a traditional Japanese grilled eel dish that can be savoured in 4 ways. Firstly, divide the dish into 4 portions. You can enjoy the grilled unagi by itself, then try it with condiments (wasabi, spring onions and pickled vegetables) which is my personal favourite. Next, pour the ochazuke provided and enjoy the unagi rice with it and the last way, is any way you want.
It was worth it and the condiments can be refilled. =) This was $21.90 and I will recommend returning again.
