($3.40) I think that I did tried it out previously with milk tea (got sugar version) but the taste for this was quite much lower sugar version if you don't want to drink too much sweet stuff.

Had the cheapest kaya toast set at 40c each thanks to klook deal! Happy to be able to start the morning with breakfast so simple and good. Love the thick slab of butter that came with each bread.

Bitter not sour.
Yet easy to tongue.
Sip a little at a time.

Good curry, though consistency is slightly more watered down, also not too "lemak" if you know what I mean. Chicken drumlets and wings are cooked till fork tender, I had mine with their fluffy white toast that soaked up the curry quicker than a sponge.
Served with your choice of noodles or toast.

After trying many shops. I still prefer yakun kaya toast. It always very delicious.

Ya Kun is well known for its kaya and self roasted coffee beans. Only for $1.20, you will be able to enjoy a cup of aromatic coffee.
Four slices of toasted bread with a generous spread of Ya Kun Kaya, two soft boiled egg and one cup of freshly brew coffee is the ionic breakfast set for many Singaporean.
Even after so many years, Ya Kun didn't stop progressing. They keep inventing new items and this is their new invention (not the original). Soft steamed bun with a thick spread of Kaya and a cold piece of butter in the middle. When the warm bread met the cold butter, the heat slowly melted away the butter. The bread soaked up the melting butter, not wasting a single drop. Dripping into the soft boiled egg created the prefect match.
