I had the Grilled Chicken Curry Omu Rice ($10.80 + $2 add on for Omu rice) and it's so good!
It's actually a sister company with Washoku goen, no wonder they taste alike. I like that they offer grilled chicken instead of the chicken katsu since the curry already make the meal very heavy. Adding on fried chicken would be too much for me. But this is perfect!
This meal also includes a small bowl of Salad with Japanese Sesame dressing, Miso Soup and Green Tea. Worth it!
One very satisfying and filling lunch set which I feel is pretty value for money.
One seriously BIG Chicken Katsu, so crispy, so tender and so big that all your stress from work will disappear once it is served!

Yakiniku set comes with salad and miso soup. It's perfectly done, the meat is very tender and evenly grilled. The serving is good and the sous vous egg just adds more delights to the bowl.
Saw a jap charcoal grill eatery with the familiar name Washoku Goen while waiting at tanjong pagar plaza. The receipt printed Yakiniku Oh instead. They are not selling some similar ramen like the stalls in vivo or city square, but only limited sets meals. I guess the main attraction is their charcoal grill which I'll come another day. This curry katsu don is huge come in set of salad and miso soup. No ++ so it's a plus point too. The chicken is crispy but juicy within, the curry is not as sweet as other jap curry, which blends well with rice. It's a big serving good for 2, but I'm not sharing cos it's so oiishi that I could finish all even though I am already full.
Although its a beef place, this fatty pork dish is awesome. Chewy and tender. It's definitely a must try!!
