Super flavourful and drenched with a thick, flavourful gravy. It leans towards the sweeter rather than savoury side! But there’s more cucumber slices than usual and I like that the chilli sauce is also slightly sour!
This review on Sean Kee’s duck rice is the first time that I am trying, hence, I am not able to determine if there are any differences from this outlet to the original stall. However, based on what I have order, the most basic Braised Duck Rice is priced at $5.90 which comes with braised peanuts and bean sprouts by the side. There are other variations with the addition of a braised egg and beancurd, plus you can get the duck meat with noodle or porridge as well. All in all, a solid plate of braised duck rice with an excellent braising sauce over it, which probably is the key factor as compared to other competitor brands. The meat was neither dry nor gamey while the rice has a nice herbal aroma.

Quite a standard bowl of your usual duck noodles, though I was expecting it to come with egg. Compared to the rice dish, this was less worth it in terms of the ingredients it comes with.
We got this as part of a deal - 2 main dishes for $10 - you can choose between duck kway teow, porridge, or rice. Queue wasn’t too bad on a weekday late afternoon. It’s quite a good alternative if you can’t get hawker food around the area.
Rice was quite fragrant, and the braised duck was pretty nice - a good balance of sweet and salty. There weren’t much braised peanuts or bean sprouts but at least the quantity of duck meat was adequate.

Braised duck rice set ($5.90) which comes with peanuts and beansprouts. Decent serving of braised duck too.
The sauce is a lot thicker than usual & pretty herbaceous which isn’t too overpowering at the same time.
Comes with bean sprouts, taukwa, peanuts and braised egg!
