Xin Yuan Ji Fish Soup 新源记 (Hougang)

The soup was great not gonna lie. But felt sort of hoodwinked, cos upon reaching the shop and wanting to redeem the burpple deal -i literally showed my burpple app to them- the stallkeeper replied that the deal is over already, even though it's evidently still available on the burrple app. Nonetheless, didn't want to argue with them and decided to order from them since we have already made the way there, and it was delish to be honest.

But seriously, doesn't feel good to be hoodwinked.

One of my favourite fish soup place at bugis has now opened an outlet at hougang.

Fish is fresh, soup is delicious.

Take note there's no more burrple deals here. Fermented pork is not even on their menu anymore.
