I really like Xing Wang’s chicken chop pasta because the pasta sauce is the right amount of creamy. The chicken chop was so tender while the skin was so crispy too 😋

Located at Plaza Singapura, #06-08/09/10. Chicken Chop Baked Rice, $10.90! Look at the amount of cheese🧀🧀 on this pipping hot chicken chop baked rice!! These cheese are so beautifully baked! The rice was a little hard though.. it’s been so long since we last had and the last I remembered, they used to taste much nicer than this. The service crew was very patient in answering my questions regarding their vegetarian menu and was extremely helpful. I really appreciate that! The horfun had the distinctive wok hei taste and was rather delicious, albeit a little too oily thou. I enjoyed a little quiet time here, and the atmosphere was welcoming and cosy. I will be back;)

And no, I don't need fancy cafe to enjoy a thick toast.

What I need when I've newly put on braces - minus the corn. Fish was fresh, succulent and came in a good portion. What I loved most though, was the soup base. Healthy, flavourful and kept simple.

So I thought if I go to a Hong Kong Cafe, surely they'll have it? Answer was a big nope! I settled for this mala noodle soup instead, I figured it'd help my blocked nose. Unfortunately the bowl in general fell flat. There's some sharp spicy taste but not enough aroma or taste in general. Or maybe that was my cold? Who knows. All I've learned is that a Hong Kong cafe doesn't have the famous Hong Kong wanton noodles.
