Love the cold pasta and teriyaki chicken. Chicken was tender but I think the sauce was a tad too salty.
Quite disappointing. My soba is soggy and it’s not even drenched with dressing. In fact that’s not enough dressing. I had to go back to add yuzu dressing. The asparagus was almost raw. It’s $12 bucks. Goodness sake. Please don’t abuse customers who patronise you.
yo this was GROSS. the soba sauce was js gross and not what i was used to (but then agn the standard of soba is the green tea soba from toss n turn). salmon poke was nice but nth amazing. expensive.
yum: 4/10
The staff also seemed very much wanting to go home, washing up stuff and the lady ignored my many attempts to catch her attention😕. Salmon and rice were quite dry and hard, and quite tasteless as well. But might be because they were closing. Bull Run Soba was quite nice. The sauce made the soba look yucky but for someone who dont typically like soba, it tasted quite good! The chicken was well marinated as well. Fren said portion wise they seem to be more generous when they are closing..which means to say the portion is likely not v filling for lunch.
Loved that the brown rice was warm when served, and there was a generous serving of salmon cubes. The ratio of ingredients were just right, and what's cool is that the wasabi is hidden in the soy sauce that is between the salmon cubes and the egg.
Not sure why it's called bull's run, but one thing I'm sure is they got the combi right. Matcha soba mixed with sesame sauce and tender chicken slices + crisp veg. Simple taste and is filling too. ($8)
