Ordered curry fish head which I wished they boiled longer before serving because the vege were not fully cooked and the taupok had not soaked in the curry. Curry felt diluted until the end when it was more boiled down. Quite a disappointment cuz most tables ordered it.
Also ordered half a white chicken and deep fried fritters to share which were ok. Oily rice was not bad but white rice was a little hard which was ok after pouring curry over. Total bill was around $55 for 3.
Chance upon this at Northpoint Shopping Mall. Decided to give it a try, with the individual set meal.
Chicken rice was fragrant, and the chicken is tender. Great food for good value!
Didn’t realise how bad it could be at the Northpoint outlet. Chicken is tough and blend. Had the char siew and roast pork and it does not stand out.
Think the better bet is still the one at 925

Apart from serving Chicken Rice which @weenamkee_sg is well known for, the curry fish head here is also a hit among most diners, with its vast presence in almost every table! ✨ Lying in a hot piping pool of curry, the main highlight is the huge steamed Garoupa fish that comes with a soft, delicate flesh. Along with an assortment of vegetables ranging from cabbage, long beans and tau pok, the curry comes with a fragrant, aromatic tinge of spice that’s distinct and not too overwhelming. Couldn’t help drizzling some over my rice instead! 🙈 Portion is huge and great for sharing when you are dining in large groups .
