I especially loved the Lemon Yakult. 👍🏻 If I remember correctly, there is bottle/jug version for the drinks at $8. Highly recommend both drinks to pair with the spicy food that this restaurant offers.
Was intimidated by the exterior of this restaurant but decided to try it after walking past quite a few times. 😂
The frogs were fried before being stir fried with the red and green pepper broth. Quite a generous amount of frogs given, just nice for 2 big eaters to eat with rice. I especially love the garlics that were being stir fried with the frogs, so soft that they melted in my mouth 🤤
Highly recommended! Will definitely be back to try other flavours, including the soup versions.
Ordered the 怪椒味 aka the spiciest flavor of the frog pot. The frogs are fried before cooking on the hotplates of your choice of flavour. So always rmb to submerge them a little more before eating. Been eating here from Chinatown and then now going to their newer outlet at Bugis Cube. There's discounted reservations using Eatigo.
This modern Chinese restaurant specialises in Hunan / Xiang cuisine, but they also offer pretty good Sichuan / Szechuan cuisine.
The major difference between the 2: that of Hunan / Xiang features chili which is dry, mildly hot, while that of Sichuan / Szechuan is oily, fiery hot.
This whole, fresh seabass fish has delicate sweet meat that is tender and flakes off easily.
Picks up the spicy pepper broth nicely, and since this is done in Hunan / Xiang style, it's less oily and less spicy than other versions.
Would eat this again.

Bold yet aptly named. These babies have a bouncy texture and a slight chew.
Meant as an add-on to any of their pot-roast dishes, I find this good enough to eat on its own.
